PURPOSE AND RECOGNITION 1.01 The general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory employment relations between the Employer and the Union. It provides means for the settlement of grievances and for the final settlement of disputes. Salaries, hours of work and other conditions of employment are established by mutual agreement. It is recognized that nurses wish to work co-operatively with the Employer to provide the best possible community health services.
Purpose and Application This document (“DPA”) is incorporated into the Agreement and forms part of a written (including in electronic form) contract between SAP and Customer. This DPA applies to Personal Data processed by SAP and its Subprocessors in connection with its provision of the Cloud Service. This DPA does not apply to non-production environments of the Cloud Service if such environments are made available by SAP, and Customer shall not store Personal Data in such environments.
Purpose and Applicability (a) The purpose of this Exhibit is to provide a description of Part 504 of NYSERDA’s regulations, which consists of NYSERDA’s policy for making payment promptly on amounts properly due and owing by NYSERDA under this Agreement. The section numbers used in this document correspond to the section numbers appearing in Part 504 of the regulations.2
PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF AGREEMENT 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Union and the employees and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining.
Purpose and Powers (a) The Company is organized for the purposes of undertaking such activities as determined by the Board and, subject to the terms and conditions herein and of the Delaware Act, the Members, which are permitted by applicable law and engaging in activities incidental or ancillary thereto. Notwithstanding the forgoing, the Company has been organized to form a subsidiary which will acquire the artwork as identified on Schedule 1 (the “Painting”) and undertake certain actions with respect thereto.
Purpose and Scope (a) The purpose of these standard contractual clauses is to ensure compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) for the transfer of personal data to a third country.

The general purpose of this Agreement is to set forth terms and conditions of employment and to promote orderly and peaceful labor relations for the mutual interests of the University, its employees and the Alliance. The parties recognize that the best interests of the University, its students and the job security of the employees depend upon the University's success in operating a state university in the most efficient manner to serve the needs of the people of the State of Michigan. To these ends, the University and the Alliance encourage to the fullest degree friendly and cooperative relations between the respective representatives at all levels and among all employees. It is understood that all University policies will be applied to all staff in the same manner.
Purpose and Business The purpose and nature of the business to be conducted by the Partnership is (i) to conduct any business that may be lawfully conducted by a limited partnership organized pursuant to the Act, (ii) to enter into any partnership, joint venture or other similar arrangement to engage in any business described in the foregoing clause (i) or to own interests in any entity engaged, directly or indirectly, in any such business and (iii) to do anything necessary or incidental to the foregoing; provided, however, that such business shall be limited to and conducted in such a manner as to permit the General Partner at all times to be classified as a REIT for federal income tax purposes, unless the General Partner ceases to qualify as a REIT for reasons other than the conduct of the business of the Partnership. In connection with the foregoing, and without limiting the General Partner’s right in its sole discretion to cease qualifying as a REIT, the Partners acknowledge that the General Partner’s current status as a REIT inures to the benefit of all the Partners and not solely the General Partner.
