Purpose and Applicability. (a) The purpose of this Exhibit is to provide a description of Part 504 of NYSERDA’s regulations, which consists of NYSERDA’s policy for making payment promptly on amounts properly due and owing by NYSERDA under this Agreement. The section numbers used in this document correspond to the section numbers appearing in Part 504 of the regulations.2
Purpose and Applicability. This Article governs the accrual and use of sick leave for all employees covered by this MOU. When a provision of this Article provides an employee with the eligibility to use sick leave that is also covered by the FMLA, the sick leave and the leave under the FMLA run concurrently. Also, employees must use their accrued sick leave in accordance with the specific provisions of this Article and exhaust all accrued annual leave and personal leave prior to using unpaid FMLA leave.
Purpose and Applicability. (a) This Addendum for U.S. Participants (the “U.S. Addendum”) applies to participants in the Plan who are either U.S. residents or U.S. taxpayers (each such participant, a “U.S. Participant”). The purpose of the U.S. Addendum is to facilitate compliance with U.S. tax, securities and other applicable laws, and to permit the Company to issue Options to eligible U.S. Participants.
Purpose and Applicability. The Company has dedicated itself to providing a safe environment and maintaining a drug-free workplace. The Company is committed to protecting the Company’s public image and its physical assets, and preserving good relationships with its customers. This policy explains the Company’s position on Provider Access and provides guidelines for Providers and their employees who provide services to the Company. This policy also provides guidance to Providers on requirements for access. To that end, the Company will not tolerate any alcohol or drug use because it threatens the health and well- being of its employees, its customers, the communities it serves or the operations of its business. Accordingly, this Site Access Policy applies to all employees and subcontractors of the Provider who perform work at any of the Company’s work sites. This policy does not address or relieve the Provider from any obligations applicable to their employees under DOT or other federally mandated drug or alcohol testing requirements. All Providers and subcontractors are responsible for enforcing the rules contained herein and for administering this policy among their employees. Compliance with this policy is a condition of all Providers contracting with the Company and their employees providing services under a Provider agreement. Certain of these requirements may be waived when the Company determines that the Provider’s work presents very little risk to the Company.
Purpose and Applicability. To establish a leave category called Military Leave for all Exempt and Nonexempt Staff employees on Regular Status which permits an employee, under certain circumstances, to be absent from duty without loss of any pay or without charge to the employee's accrued leave.

The purpose of this fund is to encourage and enable employees covered under this MOU to take advantage of professional development opportunities for which sufficient funding cannot be found in their own department budgets.

The University System of Maryland (USM) supports the general policy of tuition remission for the spouses and dependent children of USM Faculty and Exempt and Nonexempt Staff employees on Regular or Retired Status, by its constituent institutions, on an intra- and inter- institutional basis.

Purpose and Applicability. The purpose of the contract between AHCCCS and the Contractor is to implement and operate the provisions of the Comprehensive Medical and Dental Program (CMDP) approved under A.R.S. §36-2901 et seq. relating to the furnishing of covered services and items to each enrolled member. The terms of this contract apply to the Contractor, any provider participating in the Contractor’s provider network, and any provider that furnishes items and services to an enrolled member upon the request or authorization of the Contractor.
