District Leadership Team. The District Leadership Team (DLT) will consist of two (2) teacher representatives from each school. The President of the MTA will ask for volunteers to participate on the DLT. In order to participate on the committee, the teacher must be tenured. If more than two
District Leadership Team. The District Leadership Team (DLT) shall include nine (9) bargaining unit members (approved by the UACT President) including a Title I reading or math specialist with at least one representative from each building. Appointments shall be forwarded to the UACT president no later than thirty (30) days prior to the DLT’s first scheduled meeting for approval. No more than nine (9) administrators shall serve on the DLT. Bargaining unit members shall serve a three (3) year term with at least three (3) members replaced each year.
District Leadership Team. A. The District Leadership Team (DLT) consists of one (1) representative from each school’s BLT, selected by the Association president in consultation with the schools’ BLT, in addition to the administrative team members.

Only OAPSE and administrators shall serve on committees addressing issues exclusive to classified staff. Membership The OAPSE President may appoint no more than five (5) members to the District Leadership Team or any charged District Leadership Team committee. The Superintendent may appoint administrators to the DLT or any charged DLT committee. Experts and resource people may be invited, as needed, through mutual agreement of the members of the DLT. Meetings District Leadership Team meetings shall be mutually scheduled to have minimum impact on teaching, learning, and support services and when such meetings are mutually scheduled during the bargaining unit member’s scheduled work day, said bargaining unit member shall suffer no loss in pay and the Board shall provide, in ordinary circumstances, a substitute for bargaining unit members for team meetings. Service on DLT committees is voluntary (i.e. bargaining unit members shall not be entitled to any payment for service on such committees) and shall be mutually scheduled. Decision Making Process Both the district and building leadership teams shall make decisions through “pure consensus.” A pure consensus decision represents a reasonable decision that all members of the team can accept. It is not necessarily the optimal decision for each member. When all the group members feel this way, pure consensus has been reached. This means that a single team member can block consensus if he/she feels that it is necessary. Conflict-reducing techniques such as majority vote, averaging, coin toss or bargaining will be avoided. Under no circumstances can the terms or conditions of employment be bargained through this Section. Differences of opinion are natural and to be expected. They will be sought and valued. District Leadership Team. The Association President and a designee will serve as CEA representatives on the District Leadership Team (DLT). District Insurance Committee A joint Administration, CEA and WWEA committee shall be maintained to make recommendations to the Board regarding methods to improve present district insurance programs and to monitor all insurance issues as they occur, including changes in insurance carriers and third party administrators. The committee will be comprised of two (2) representatives of the CEA, three (3) representatives of the Administration, two (2) representatives of the exempt employees and five (5) representatives of the WWEA. Representatives from the IEA, the third party administrator (TPA), and/or the insurance broker may also serve in an advisory capacity. Insurance Appeals Committee A subset of the above mentioned Insurance Committee shall be maintained to hear and rule on appeals from employees who are in disagreement with an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) or denial of coverage by the third party administrator. This appeals committee will be comprised of two (2) representatives of the WWEA, one (1) representative of CEA, one representative of Administration and one (1) representative of exempt employees. A representative of the third party administrator (TPA) and the District Benefits Coordinator may serve in an advisory capacity.

District Leadership Team. A. A District Leadership Team (DLT) shall be established to facilitate communication between the Association and the district administration. The purpose of this committee is to discuss district- wide problems or concerns arising within the district or issues that cannot be resolved by a Building Leadership Team. Its purpose is neither to serve as an alternative to the grievance procedure nor to supplement negotiations but merely to provide a forum for communication regarding concerns pertaining to the smooth functioning of the education system.
District Leadership Team. The District shall have a District Leadership Team. The Committee will consist of no more than one (1) teacher from each elementary building, three (3) teachers from the Junior High School and three (3) teachers from the High School to be selected by the Superintendent from each building’s leadership team and such other members as deemed necessary by the superintendent. Any teacher required in writing to work beyond the work day shall be compensated at the hourly rate as specified in the CBA. The focus of this Team is to study and implement educational initiatives District wide.
