Employees shall 44 operate within State law and District policy in maintaining good order and discipline in their classrooms at all 45 times. 49 50 51 2 Without revealing specific information regarding criminal histories, medical histories, or specifically 4 manner of students who have exhibited serious assaultive behavior at least one (1) school day prior to their 5 admittance to classrooms, if such information is known in advance of the student’s admittance. Staff members 6 so informed shall treat the information as confidential. A safety plan shall be developed by impacted 7 employees and other appropriate building staff, (which may include the Principal, Counselor, Security, 8 Education Specialist, Special Services, etc.) and communicated to all impacted staff within three (3) student 9 days or less. The safety plan shall be implemented as quickly as possible. 11 In the event the employee experiences safety concerns in the workplace due to serious assaultive student 12 behavior, the employee shall report said concerns to his/her Principal or administrative supervisor who will 13 act to remediate the concern. Article 11, paragraph 1 Vila Mimosa Lda is obligated, according to the circumstances, to support and assist the customer if the trip fails to meet the expectations that the customer under the agreement could reasonably have. The resulting costs are borne by Vila Mimosa Lda, if the failure to implement the agreement under the second paragraph of Article 10 is attributable. If the Student is being compensated for fieldwork, I will organize, at a mutually convenient time, and attend a mid-semester meeting among the Student, Site Supervisor and myself to review progress toward, re-assess, and adjust the Student’s learning goals. The meeting must be in-person unless one or more parties is in a remote location, in which case the meeting may be held using video conferencing technology. Availability: I will be available as a resource to the Student and the Site Supervisor should any concerns or issues arise. Evaluation: I will evaluate the extern’s academic performance during the residency. The assessment will be based on the Student and Site Supervisor evaluations, timely compliance with residency requirements, the quality of self-reflection, and professionalism. Based on this evaluation, I will determine whether credit should be granted.
