Academic Requirements. 4. a) If a student is not able to maintain a course load of at least eighteen units, as defined in section 2, the student will be required to withdraw from residence and to meet the financial responsibilities, as outlined in section 16. A student who cannot maintain a course load of at least eighteen units for medical, or compassionate reasons must submit a written appeal with supporting documents to Residence Admissions to be considered for permission to remain in residence.

Academic Requirements. I will ensure that the student enrolls in an approved companion course to the externship placement. I will ensure that the law school’s externship curriculum includes requirements (including readings, reflective papers or journals, presentations, and/or other assignments) designed to develop the extern’s experience at the placement, including encouraging self-evaluation and reflection.

Prerequisites for receiving the Erasmus Mundus monthly grant are sufficient progress in studies/research/work and for exchange undergraduate and master grantees, the achievement of the minimum credits stated by the host university (not less than 20 ECTS per semester or 40 ECTS per academic year).

College students are required to complete at least thirty (30) institutional hours at UM-Flint, fifteen (15) of which will be awarded as UM-Flint institutional credit with validation of unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license within the United States. A grade of"C" (2.0) or better is required of courses for transfer to UM-Flint.
