Approved Time Off. An employee, who is absent from work on an approved time off in lieu of overtime payment, shall be considered as if she had worked her scheduled shift(s) during such an absence.

Approved Time Off. Employees who serve on Jury Duty during the work week, are considered as having met the 40-hour work requirement, and thus, would be eligible to receive overtime pay when working beyond the 40-hour work requirement.

Approved Time Off. An Employee may request a day or days off without pay. Such requests shall be made in writing a minimum of one (1) week in advance of the start time of the shift(s) being requested to be taken off. The Company may grant such requested time off at the Company’s sole discretion. The granting of such leave shall be based on operational requirements, and the availability of replacement Employees. Where the Company does not grant the leave as outlined above, the Employee making the request shall be expected to report for work as scheduled. Employees may accrue and bank hours worked on overtime, up to 40 hours per year. This accrued time can be scheduled as time off during the calendar year in which the overtime is worked. Approved Time Off. An employee who is absent on approved paid time off during his/her scheduled work week because of sickness, bereavement, holiday, vacation, workers' compensation, or other approved leave of absence, shall, for the purpose of computing vacation entitlement and pay for overtime worked, be considered as if he/she had worked during the regular hours during such absence. The above shall apply to approved unpaid time off for periods of short duration not exceeding two (2) weeks.

Approved Time Off. Compensatory time off or Personal Leave under Article 15 shall be taken at a minimum increment of four (4) hours if the taking of such time creates an overtime fill-in situation for the Town. In the event that no overtime situation is created, then there shall be no restrictions on the minimum time increment to be taken except that full hours must be utilized. To be eligible to take otherwise-unscheduled compensatory time off, an employee must submit to the Chief or other officer-in-charge his/her oral request for said leave at least one (1) hour before commencement of the shift from which leave is requested to be taken.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) Executive shall earn and accrue paid-time-off covering vacation and sick time benefits at the rate of twenty (20) days per year for employment periods of up to five years of service. The PTO accrual rate shall automatically increase by five (5) additional days for each additional 5 years of service up to maximum of thirty (30) days per year after 10 years of service. For example, after five years of service, the annual PTO accrual rate shall increase to twenty-five (25) days. Unused PTO shall carry over to the next year, but Executive shall cease accruing further PTO at any time Executive has accrued two times his annual accrual rate. Unused PTO days which are not in excess of two-times the annual accrual rate shall be paid in a cash lump sum payment promptly after Executive’s termination of employment.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.
