Approved Leave of Absence with Pay During Vacation When employees are qualified for sick leave, bereavement, or any other approved leave with pay during their vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide a fully completed sick leave form within five (5) working days of returning to work. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time.

Approved Leave of Absence. (a) A person who is absent for work as a result of a compensable accident or compensable sickness incurred as an employee of the Company shall be considered to be a person on authorized leave of absence, who shall accumulate vacation credits and, effective July 1, 1997, vacation pay (provided he worked during the vacation year), and seniority to which he is entitled during such absence. For the purpose of this agreement “compensable" shall mean compensable under the Worker's Compensation Act.
Approved Leave of Absence. After up to twelve (12) weeks of FMLA eligible leave, an employee on a Board approved leave of absence shall be responsible for all insurance premiums during the leave of absence. Payments during the FMLA leave shall be according to Article 21, Section C(2).

Approved Leave of Absence. (a) Where an employee who has been employed for at least one year, is on an approved leave of absence, the Employer shall pay the Employer’s portion of the benefits in the month in which the leave starts and the month following.

All leaves of absence granted in this Agreement shall be considered as part of the continuous service with the Employer, subject to the limitations outlined in Section 16 Seniority, Subsection 16.3 hereof. When a personal leave of absence is granted to an Employee by the Employer, a written notice shall be given to evidence such an arrangement. Employees shall use all vacation time and personal holidays prior to the start of any leave of absence.

When a personal Leave of Absence is granted to an Employee by an Employer, a written notice shall be given to evidence such an arrangement. Employees shall use all vacation time and Floating Holidays prior to the start of any leave of absence.
