Approved Leave of Absence with Pay During Vacation When employees are qualified for sick leave, bereavement, or any other approved leave with pay during their vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide a fully completed sick leave form within five (5) working days of returning to work. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time.
Approved Leave of Absence. (a) A person who is absent for work as a result of a compensable accident or compensable sickness incurred as an employee of the Company shall be considered to be a person on authorized leave of absence, who shall accumulate vacation credits and, effective July 1, 1997, vacation pay (provided he worked during the vacation year), and seniority to which he is entitled during such absence. For the purpose of this agreement “compensable" shall mean compensable under the Worker's Compensation Act.
Approved Leave of Absence. After up to twelve (12) weeks of FMLA eligible leave, an employee on a Board approved leave of absence shall be responsible for all insurance premiums during the leave of absence. Payments during the FMLA leave shall be according to Article 21, Section C(2).
Approved Leave of Absence. Except as otherwise required by law, if the Grantee is on an approved leave of absence from active employment for any reason, after the first eight consecutive weeks of such leave, the dates set forth in the table above shall be delayed by the number of full or partial months that the Grantee is out on the approved leave of absence after such first eight weeks.
Approved Leave of Absence. If a regular route bus driver is not medically certified to return to full-time, unrestricted service within one (1) year of a job related injury, he/she will be assigned the next available route following his/her unrestricted medical release up to one year after such injury and/or approved leave of absence.
Approved Leave of Absence. In the case of an Offered Business Employee who, as of the Closing Date, is on a leave of absence by the Seller (other than any Offered Business Employee who is on vacation or other approved short-term leave of absence, including without limitation maternity or military leave), the employment of such Offered Business Employee with Purchaser or an Affiliate of Purchaser shall be effective upon his or her return to active work, provided that the Offered Business Employee reports to work with the Purchaser or an Affiliate of Purchaser, as applicable, within fifteen (15) days after the end of any such approved leave and, to the extent permitted by applicable law, in no event later than one hundred eighty (180) days following the Closing Date, and, as of such date, such Offered Business Employee shall be a Transferred Employee.
Approved Leave of Absence. Each NCR Employee who at the Effective Time is on Approved Leave of Absence and who NCR and Teradata intend will become upon return from such Approved Leave of Absence a Teradata Employee shall be listed on Exhibit G. NCR shall retain liability for each such employee until such time as such employee returns from such Approved Leave of Absence (“Return Date”). Upon the Return Date, or on such earlier date as may be required by applicable law, such employee shall become a Teradata Employee and the provisions of this Section 4.1 that otherwise would have been effective as of the Effective Time shall instead be effective with respect to such employee as of the Return Date.
Approved Leave of Absence. (a) Where an employee who has been employed for at least one year, is on an approved leave of absence, the Employer shall pay the Employer’s portion of the benefits in the month in which the leave starts and the month following.
Approved Leave of Absence. The Employer may grant leaves of absence to ------------------------- Employees based on the merit of the leave. Request and permission must be in writing. An Employee, who fails to report for work at the end of a leave of absence, shall terminate employment rights, except where the Employer has agreed to extend the leave of absence. A fourteen (14) day leave of absence, without pay, shall be allowed, where necessary, in order to care for necessary details resulting from the death of a member of the Employee's immediate family, as defined below. All leaves of absence granted in this Agreement shall be considered as part of the continuous service with the Employer, subject to the limitations outlined in Section 16 Seniority, Subsection 16.3 hereof. When a personal leave of absence is granted to an Employee by the Employer, a written notice shall be given to evidence such an arrangement. Employees shall use all vacation time and personal holidays prior to the start of any leave of absence.
Approved Leave of Absence. The Employer may grant leaves to Employees -------------------------- based on merit of the leave. Request and permission must be in writing. An Employee who fails to report for work at the end of a Leave of Absence shall terminate seniority rights except where the Employer has agreed to extend the Leave of Absence. A thirty (30) days Leave of Absence without pay shall be allowed where necessary in order to care for necessary details resulting from the death of a member of his or her immediate family as defined below. All Leaves of Absence granted in this Agreement shall be considered as part of the continuous service with the Employer subject to the limitation outlined in Section 18.3. When a personal Leave of Absence is granted to an Employee by an Employer, a written notice shall be given to evidence such an arrangement. Employees shall use all vacation time and Floating Holidays prior to the start of any leave of absence.
