The District may exercise an Independent Medical Examination if warranted, at the Committee’s expense. The joint sick bank committee comprised of two Unit C members, as appointed by the President(s) and two Administration representatives will review the application/documentation and make a determination on the application for sick bank days. Benefits to this program are for the work year only. An employee may only receive sick bank benefits until a long-term disability plan is in effect (can only benefit from one source at a time).
