Sick Day Clause Samples
A Sick Day clause defines the terms under which an employee may take time off from work due to illness. Typically, it outlines the number of paid or unpaid sick days allowed per year, the process for notifying the employer, and any documentation required, such as a doctor's note for extended absences. This clause ensures that employees can recover from illness without fear of losing their job or pay, while also providing employers with clear guidelines for managing absences and maintaining workplace productivity.
