Disability Payments definition

Disability Payments means cash disability payments made pursuant to a governmental program as a substitute for cash unemployment payments to an individual who is ineligible for such payments solely because of the disability, except for payments made under workmen's compensation acts for personal injuries or sickness.
Disability Payments means payments received under the Company’s long-term or short-term disability plans, payments received under the workers’ compensation law (excluding statutory payments for loss of any physical or bodily member such as a leg, arm or finger), or solely with respect to an Employee who is not covered by the Company’s long-term disability plan, payments of a Social Security disability pension received on account of a disability incurred while an Employee.

Examples of Disability Payments in a sentence

  • The Executive shall make reasonable good faith efforts to notify the Bank of the receipt of Disability Payments.

  • If, during his employment with the Company, the Executive receives Short-Term Disability Payments, then the Company shall pay the Executive the difference between the Short-Term Disability Payments and the portion of his then-current Annual Base Salary the Company would have paid him while receiving Short-Term Disability Payments.

  • If the Executive is Disabled during his employment with the Company and otherwise entitled to receive salary and bonus payments under this Agreement, then any such salary and bonus payments (or such payments in lieu of salary and bonus payments) shall be reduced by the amount of any Short-Term Disability Payments received by the Executive for the period of short-term disability and any benefits paid for the same period under the Company-provided disability insurance coverage.

  • On Projects which do not attract the Site Allowance, Employees are entitled to be paid all relevant Special Rates or Disability Payments under the Award.

  • In the event that the Executive breaches any of the covenants set forth in Section 4 of this Employment Agreement, the Executive will immediately return to the Company any portion of the Supplemental Disability Payments and the Pro-Rata Bonus that have been paid to the Executive pursuant to this Section 3.2(c).

  • Award Special Rates and Disability Payments (other than those outlined above) shall continue to apply in accordance with the Award.

  • The Executive agrees that if he violates any term of Sections 7 and/or 8 at any time, he shall have no entitlement to Disability Payments under Sections 5.2, and that he will promptly reimburse the Company on demand for all monies previously paid to him or on his behalf prior to the date of such violation under Sections 5.2 or 5.4 of this Agreement.

  • In lieu of, and in full satisfaction of, continued participation in all employee benefit plans or programs in which the Executive was participating on the date of his termination of employment, pursuant to subsection 8(d)(iii) or 8(e) of this Agreement, the Executive shall receive payments at the same time, and subject to the same conditions, as the Severance Payments or the Disability Payments, as applicable, the “Benefit Payment”, except as required by subsection 8(i)(iii) hereof.


More Definitions of Disability Payments

Disability Payments means: (i) for the first year of Executive’s Disability, Executive’s then-current base salary; and (ii) and for the next six months of Executive’s Disability, one-half of his then-current base salary.
Disability Payments as defined in this Section even though the Executive is not "Totally Disabled" as that term is defined in Section 6.1 of this Agreement. In such instances the Executive's base salary shall be reduced dollar for dollar by the Disability Payments received by the Executive.
