Effective the date of ratification the janitorial services for the building will be brought in-house and within thirty (30) days of ratification the current contracted employee will be offered employment within the District of Xxxxxxx/CUPE Local 1804 bargaining unit. The wage rate for the janitorial position is set out in Schedule “A” of the collective agreement. All other terms of the collective agreement shall apply. While the Union requests the District endeavor to create as near fulltime janitorial employment as possible with the addition of the janitorial services of the new building, it is acknowledged and agreed that the determination of specific numbers of weekly work hours and employee complement rests with the District.
