UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. If an employee is required by the County or by law to wear a uniform, protective clothing, or any type of protective device, such uniform, protective clothing or device shall be furnished, and paid for by the Employer.

UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. 22.01 Where a Department requires an employee to wear a uniform or laboratory coat it shall be the University's responsibility to supply and launder such clothing. The University shall also supply such protective equipment as it deems necessary.
UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. As part of the employer’s commitment to quality and safety in the workplace, the employer will provide the employee with all uniforms and protective equipment as required. The employee will adhere to safety procedures, wear protective clothing and use the protective equipment at all times when performing their job. The employee will be required to maintain the uniform and protective equipment in accordance with the employer’s hygiene standards and will be responsible for its care and safe keeping. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in appropriate discipline and employee counselling. The employer will provide all employees with replacement items as necessary, as a result of reasonable use and wear, or damage. All equipment issued in accordance with this clause will remain the property of the employer and will be returned to the employer on demand and in the event of termination of employment. The employee and the employer agree that this provision excludes the operation of protected conditions about monetary allowances for matters dealt with in this clause.
UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. If any employee is required to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment (PPE) as a condition of employment, such uniform and PPE shall be furnished to the employee by the City and all rules governing uniform(s) shall be defined in departmental policy. Supplied uniforms and PPEs shall remain the property of the City. Purchases shall not be made for any items defined herein without prior approval of the employee's supervisor. In addition, the parties agree that the City shall have the right to require that items covered by this paragraph be repaired prior to their being replaced.

The Employer shall also provide and maintain necessary foul weather gear for Animal Control employees. Foul weather gear for Recreation and Maintenance shall be Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($250.00) Dollars per year, paid to each employee in July, except new hires who shall receive the Two Hundred Fifty and No/100 ($250.00) Dollars within thirty (30) days after their date of hire. The Employer shall deduct a prorata amount from the employee’s paycheck if the employee is not employed for twelve (12) months. This provision shall take effect after the contract is executed by the parties. In 1995, the County shall also provide its maintenance and custodial staff with four (4) wash and wear pant and four (4) wash and wear shirts, to be maintained by the employees, which will be replaced on an as-needed basis.

Any changes in the equipment to be issued must be negotiated with the Union. The College shall approve the color and style of uniforms. The College shall replace the uniforms as needed. The College shall provide the employee’s weapon. The employee may purchase and carry their own weapon as long as the weapon meets standards sets by the Chief of Police.

UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. 14.1. We will provide the following items of uniform to you at the commencement of your employment with us:
UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. If an employer requires an employee to wear a uniform or special clothing, the employer must provide, clean and maintain it at no cost to the employee. Special clothing is clothing that is easily identified with the employer; for example, clothing with a company logo or unique company colours. A dress code (no jeans, no cut-offs, dark clothing, business casual) is not a uniform. If an employee is required to clean and maintain such uniform or special clothing, the employer shall reimburse any related costs. The employer will supply suitable protective equipment to employees required by the employer to wear same.
UNIFORMS AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. The employer will provide the following items of uniform to the employee on an annual basis and will be issued in February annually after completion of 12 months service or at the discretion of management: 3 Polo Shirts Protective clothing Employees will be responsible for laundering their uniform. The employee is responsible for replacing or repairing any items resulting from general wear and tear in the 12 month period. Employee is responsible to ensure that all protective clothing issued is well maintained and regularly laundered. Employees with less than 12 months service may have uniforms purchased by the employer, however if the employee leaves the organisation within their first 12 months, the cost of the uniform will be debited from termination pay on a pro rata basis.
