Maintenance Employees. The normal hours of work for full-time Maintenance employees are 72 ½ hours over a two (2) week period, not to exceed eight (8) hours per day.

However, the Company reserves the right to hire fully qualified mechanics at the full wage rate. For the 90-day probationary period, the wage rate will be 70 percent of the current hourly wage rate; on the 91st day of employment the wage rate will increase to 80 percent of the current hourly wage rate. During the 15th month of employment, employees hired at the reduced entry-level wage rate will be required to take a mechanical skills test. These employees must successfully complete the test to receive 100 percent of the current hourly wage rate. This hourly wage rate will begin the first day of their 19th month of employment. Employees failing to successfully complete the test in the 15th month will be tested again in the 18th month. Employees who fail to successfully complete the test a second time will be re-tested every month thereafter until they successfully complete the course. Maintenance Employees. (i) There will be overtime lists for each work group (Mechanical, Instrument/Electrical and Warehouse). The overtime list will be developed on overtime hours to date in that work group. All overtime asked for, not considered for (for whatever reason), worked or declined must be documented. A worker will be charged with all hours worked or declined. The overtime list will become fixed weekly after each Sunday’s time is entered and made available by Wednesday afternoon. The Site Services Manager/Operator will determine the number and trade skills required for the overtime, with input from the trades people where required.
