Authority of Arbitrator. The arbitrator shall not have the power (a) to alter, modify, amend, add to, or subtract from any term or provision of this Agreement; (b) to rule upon or grant any extension, renewal or continuance of this Agreement; or (c) to grant interim injunctive relief prior to the award.
Authority of Arbitrator. The expedited arbitrator shall have the same powers and authority as an arbitration board established under the provisions of Article 11 excepting Article 11.04. It is understood that it is not the intention of either party to appeal a decision of an expedited arbitration proceeding. The arbitrator has the same authority to award relief on an individual basis that a judge in a court of law would have. The award of the arbitrator is final and binding upon you and us.

The arbitrator shall have no authority to add to, detract from, modify, or otherwise change any of the terms or provisions of this Contract. Authority of Arbitrator. The arbitrator shall only be authorized to exercise the powers specifically enumerated by this procedure and to decide the dispute in accordance with governing principles of law and equity. The arbitrator shall have no authority to modify the powers granted by the terms of this procedure or to modify the terms of the employee handbook, except as required by law. The arbitrator shall have the authority to rule on motions by the parties, to issue protective orders upon motion of any party or third party, and to determine only the disputes submitted by the parties based upon the grounds presented.
