MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS Clause Samples

The Maintenance of Standards clause requires a party, typically a service provider or contractor, to perform its obligations at a specified level of quality or in accordance with established industry standards. In practice, this means the party must ensure that its work, services, or deliverables consistently meet or exceed the agreed-upon benchmarks throughout the contract term. For example, a cleaning company might be required to maintain cleanliness according to health and safety regulations. This clause serves to protect the recipient of the services by ensuring ongoing quality and accountability, thereby reducing the risk of subpar performance.
