Leave Donation Program. Employees may donate paid leave to a fellow employee who is otherwise eligible to accrue and use sick leave and is employed by the same Agency. The intent of the leave donation program is to allow employees to voluntarily provide assistance to their co-workers who are in critical need of leave due to the serious illness or injury of the employee or a member of the employee’s immediate family. The definition of immediate family as provided in rule 123:1-47-01 of the Administrative Code shall apply for the leave donation program.

Leave Donation Program. It is recognized that occasions may arise where an employee exhausts all of his or her paid leave time due to a serious illness or injury of the employee or to the employee's immediate family member. In order to allow such an employee to continue on active service for a prolonged period, this Leave Donation Program is established whereby employees may voluntarily donate accrued but unused sick leave or vacation leave to a County employee in need.

Leave Donation Program. (a) Employees in the Union covered by this agreement may donate vacation, compensatory time, discretionary holiday and sick time hours to a Leave Donation Program (“Program”) for use by other employees in the bargaining unit, or other eligible City of Toledo employees outside of the bargaining unit, subject to the provisions of this section and any applicable provisions of the recipient employee’s Collective Bargaining Agreement or the Toledo Municipal Code. The Program allows employees to voluntarily provide assistance to eligible bargaining unit members and other eligible City of Toledo employees outside of the bargaining unit who are in need of paid leave due to a serious illness of the employee or a member of their immediate family. For the purposes of this section, immediate family is defined as the employee’s spouse, children (biological, adopted, step or xxxxxx), parents, siblings or grandparents.
Leave Donation Program. PEF agrees to establish a leave donation program to provide compensation through the use of donated leave credits to employees who have exhausted their leave credits. The following conditions apply:
Leave Donation Program. The District agrees to form a Sick Leave Pool for classified employees with prolonged non-industrial injuries or illnesses. An employee may donate accumulated vacation, sick leave, or overtime compensatory time to the pool. An eligible employee for the purposes of this section is one who has (1) contributed to the pool during the current calendar year, (2) exhausted all accrued paid leaves, and (3) been approved to receive sick leave hours from the pool by the Sick Leave Pool Committee. Donations shall be in whole hour increments with a minimum of eight (8) hours. The value of the donation will be based upon the donating employee's hourly rate at the time of donation. Participating employees shall donate a minimum of eight (8) hours each calendar year. Employees may initially join the pool upon hire or during the month of January. Participation shall continue each year until withdrawn by the employee’s written request, which must be done during the month of January. Employees may make additional donations of eight
