Active Work definition

Active Work means the performance of full or part-time work by an Eligible Employee for UA either at the employee's customary place of employment or at such other place or places as required by UA in the course of work for the full number of hours and full rate of pay in accordance with the established employment practices of UA for full or part-time employees.
Active Work means the performance of work as an Eligible Member at such place as is required in the course of his employment.
Active Work or “Actively at Work” means that a person is working for the Participating Employer and is physically and mentally able to perform the normal duties of the job.

Examples of Active Work in a sentence

  • Actively at Work, or Active Work means a person is performing the material and substantial duties of his or her regular occupation for compensation.

  • If an Employee is not actively at work on a full-time basis at a business establishment of the Employer (the "Active Work Requirement") when he/she would otherwise become eligible for participation, the eligibility date for participation will be deferred until the first day thereafter on which he/she does comply with the Active Work Requirement.

  • For absolute clarity, the Executive shall not be entitled to any bonus payments beyond the effective date of termination or during any period of contractual or reasonable notice that does not constitute Active Work Time.

  • Otherwise, your Benefit will become effective on the first day after your next full day of Active Work.

  • Otherwise, you will become eligible for the Benefit on the first day after 30 consecutive calendar days in which you meet the Covered requirements and the Active Work requirements.

Active Work means performing the material duties of one’s own occupation at their employer’s usual place of business. An employee will also meet the Active Work requirement if:
Active Work means performing his or her regular duties for a full work day for the Policyholder.
Active Work mean actually performing on a Full-time or Part-time basis the material duties pertaining to his/her job in the place where and the manner in which the job is normally performed. This includes approved time off such as vacation, jury duty and funeral leave, but does not include time off as a result of an Injury or Sickness.
Active Work means total time spent at work including overtime. Does not include time travel to and from work site or rest breaks during shifts;
