Active Work means the performance of full or part-time work by You for UA either at Your customary place of employment or at such other place or places as required by UA in the course of work for the full number of hours and full rate of pay in accordance with the established employment practices of UA for full or part-time Employees.
Active Work means the performance of work as an Eligible Member at such place as is required in the course of his employment.

Examples of Active Work in a sentence
A period when you are absent from Active Work as part of a severance or other employment termination agreement is not a leave of absence, even if you are receiving the same Predisability Earnings.
However, your insurance will be continued during the following periods when you are absent from Active Work, unless it ends under any of the above.
Changes In InsuranceThis Active Work requirement also applies to any increase in your insurance.
Actively at Work will include regularly scheduled days off, holidays, or vacation days, so long as you are capable of Active Work on those days.
If you were eligible for insurance and insured under the Prior Plan on the day before the Plan Effective Date, you can become insured on the Plan Effective Date without meeting the Active Work requirement under Section II.A.3.
More Definitions of Active Work
Active Work means performing the material duties of one’s own occupation at their employer’s usual place of business. An employee will also meet the Active Work requirement if:
Active Work means the presence of workers engaged in maintenance of, or construction upon public rights-of- way, and shall include related activities necessary for full completion of the work, such as material drying or curing times when workers may not be physically present. As long as workers engaged in the maintenance of, or construction upon the public rights-of-way are present in the temporary work zone, the term active work shall also include those periods of time when they may be idle due to material, equipment, inspection or similar scheduling requirements.(Ord. Temporary work zone traffic management.In addition to the barricading and permitting requirements contained in section 25-24 and elsewhere in this chapter, all temporary work zone barricading within City of Tucson rights-of- way shall substantially comply with the latest edition of MUTCD, as amended by the state and including the additions by the city, and with NCHRP 350 Guidelines. No temporary roadway restrictions shall occur during peak travel times, or on major holidays unless specifically approved by the director of transportation or in case of actual emergency. The director of transportation may allow temporary roadway restrictions in the off-peak direction during peak travel times in the director's sole discretion. Under no circumstances shall roadways, sidewalks, or transit zones be restricted with barricades when no active work is being performed or is to be performed within two (2) hours of the completion of the installation of the barricades, unless an approved detour is in place.(Ord. Active Work means you are performing all of the material duties of your occupation at your usual place of business or another location that your employer’s business requires you to be and you are a citizen or legal resident of the United States – or Canada, but employed in a United States-based unit. If you are absent from work solely due to a vacation day, holiday, scheduled day off, or approved leave of absence unrelated to a disability, you are considered to be actively working for purposes of participation in this Plan.
Active Work and “Actively at Work” means the actual expenditure of time and energy by the Employee, performing each of the main duties of his/her regular job on a full-time basis in the place where and the manner in which such job is normally performed. If the Employee was actively at work, as defined above, on his/her last regular working date then he/she shall be deemed to be actively at work on each day of paid vacation or paid status or regular non-working day on which he/she is not disabled.
Active Work or “Actively at Work” means that a person is working for the Participating Employer and is physically and mentally able to perform the normal duties of the job.
Active Work mean actually performing on a Full-time or Part-time basis the material duties pertaining to his/her job in the place where and the manner in which the job is normally performed. This includes approved time off such as vacation, jury duty and funeral leave, but does not include time off as a result of an Injury or Sickness.
