More Definitions of Active Employment

Active Employment means you must be actively at work for the University:
Active Employment for the purposes of Article 24 shall have the same meaning as “active employment” as defined in Article 18.08 and Article 18.09.

An Employee shall be deemed to be engaged in Active Employment while on jury duty or on any regular nonworking day including holidays or vacation days established and published by the Employer if the Employee was engaged in Active Employment on the last preceding regular working day.
