WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. The work year for nurses shall be consistent with the days teachers work with and without students. The workday for nurses shall be consistent with the workday of the teachers within the building to which a nurse is assigned. Any days worked beyond the year’s total shall be compensated at the appropriate per diem of the nurse.

WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. A. The School Calendar, as adopted by the Board of Education, shall be applicable to all professional support staff during the pupil school year. During the balance of the year, professional support staff shall be entitled to July 4th and Labor Day as holidays.
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. The aide’s work year will follow the teacher’s calendar with the exception of parent/teacher evening conferences. The workday will consist of 1 to 6.5 hours, the classroom library aide works 7.0 hours, not including the 30 minute duty free, unpaid lunch period in Article 22 A.
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. A. The calendar and hours of work shall be established by the Board. The number of workdays shall not exceed the number of workdays for teachers.
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. A. The work year of employees covered by this Agreement shall commence on July 1st and end on June 30th. Employees who work 180 or fewer days per year shall not normally be expected to work when students are not in school. Employees who work more than 180 days per year shall have any days beyond 180 scheduled by their immediate supervisors. It is understood and agreed that the Committee may require all paraeducators to either work one additional full day or attend an additional six (6) hours of professional development per year by paying the paraeducators at their hourly rate of pay. Beginning with the 2016-17 school year, the number of days for all full time employees shall be 182, with the first day before the opening of school counted as one of these days. Full time employees shall also attend one (1) professional development day per year, in conjunction with the teachers. This professional development day shall not be scheduled as the first day of the work year or the last day of the work year.
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. The work year for employees shall be one hundred eighty-two (182) days per year. The work week for full-time employees shall be five (5) consecutive workdays, Monday through Friday, thirty-five (35) hours per week and a daily average of seven (7) hours per day. Each employee who works a continuous seven-hour period must receive two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest breaks of paid time. Paid rest breaks must be included in an employee’s schedule of work. Each employee working five (5) continuous hours must receive at least thirty (30) minute duty-free lunch period without pay. Each employee assigned to work a continuous seven-hour period must receive a fifteen (15) minute rest break of paid time for every four (4) hours worked included in the employee’s schedule of work.
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. A. The length of the school year shall be a total of 185.5 days as follows: 181 student contact days 2 additional days for in-service 2 additional days which shall apply to professional development and 1 single session day for teachers following the last student day
WORK YEAR AND WORKDAY. 1. The regular work year for all Subject Area Supervisors shall be 185 days plus ten (10) additional days which shall be worked during July, August, and/or June after the conclusion of the regular work year. Said additional days shall be scheduled, upon approval of the Subject Area Supervisor's immediate supervisor.
