Labor Day. Paid Holidays None Shift Rates The first shift shall work seven hours at the regular straight time rate. The second and third shift shall work seven hours the regular straight time hourly rate plus a fourteen percent wage and benefit premium. Off hour work in occupied or retail buildings may be worked on weekdays with an increment of $1.00 per hour and eight hours pay for seven (7) hours worked. Labor Day. The Opening Day Breakfast is not a scheduled work day. It is a mandatory training day and staff is provided a continental breakfast and is paid for this training time. For hourly employees, Labor Day will be a non-paid holiday unless they meet the eligibility rules as noted under Article XVI, Section 16.1, keeping in mind that the opening day breakfast shall not be considered a regular scheduled work day.
