SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. (a) New employees hired in the unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first ninety (90) calendar days of their employment. When an employee has finished the probationary period, he shall be entered on the seniority list of the unit and shall rank for seniority from the ninety (90) days prior to the day he completed the probationary period. There shall be no seniority among probationary employees.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. 12.01 New employees hired in the unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first ninety (90) calendar days of their employment. The probationary period excludes winter break and summer recess, employees working twelve months are an exception.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. A. New employees hired as members of the bargaining unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first sixty (60) days worked of employment. When an employee finishes the probationary period, he shall be entered on the seniority list of the unit as of the first day worked in the employee’s probationary period.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. (a) New employees hired in the unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first forty-five (45) working days of their employment. Days on which a probationary employee is absent, will serve to extend the probationary period. When an employee satisfactorily finishes the probationary period, the employee shall be entered on the seniority list of the unit and shall rank for seniority from the employee’s date of hire. There shall be no seniority among probationary employees. Probationary employees will not receive any paid holidays, insurance, paid leave days or other benefits under the terms of this Agreement.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. A. New employees hired in the unit shall be considered as probationary employees for up to ninety (90) calendar days of their employment in the position assigned. There shall be no seniority among probationary employees. When an employee completes the probationary period, by accumulating ninety (90) calendar days of employment within not more than six (6) months, he/she shall be entered on the seniority list of the unit and shall rank for seniority from the date of assignment. Retention of probationary employees will be strictly within the discretion of the Employer. Probationary & new non-probationary employees hired after January 1, 2009 shall be paid at the wage rate set for the category as shown in Appendix- A.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. 1. Seniority is defined as the first day of work in a position represented by this Association. Seniority shall not accrue during layoff.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. 12.1 The district shall consider new employees hired into the unit as probationary employees for the first seventy (70) days worked. The employees' seniority shall begin tolling from their first day on the job as a bargaining unit member.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. A. New employees hired in the unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first one-hundred and twenty (120) days worked of employment which excludes holidays, and days the College is closed. The one-hundred and twenty (120) days worked probationary period shall be accumulated within not more than two-hundred and forty (240) calendar days. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, the employee shall be entered on the seniority list and shall rank for seniority from the employee’s first day of work (“date of hire”). If two employees start work on the same day at the same time, the employee who accepted the employment offer first shall be the senior employee. There shall be no seniority among probationary employees.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES. 1. New employees hired in the unit shall be probationary employees for the first sixty (60) working days of their employment. When an employee finishes the probationary period, they shall be entered on the seniority list of their unit starting on their Board approved hire date. It is understood the bus drivers and cafeteria employees each have their own separate seniority lists and shall only be accepted as such.
SENIORITY - PROBATIONARY EMPLOYEES a. New employees hired in the bargaining unit shall be considered as probationary employees for the first ninety (90) days of their continuous employment with an additional thirty (30) days if requested by the Employer in writing prior to the end of the ninety (90) days.
