Hire Date definition

Hire Date shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.2(a).
Hire Date has the meaning set forth in Section 12.02(a).
Hire Date as used herein means the term and year in which one first rendered paid service as an adjunct professor in the credit or noncredit instructional program of the District. If necessary, when individuals have the same hire date, priority shall be decided by lottery. The District shall not be required to accept applications beyond those covered by the maximum annual pool. No employee already approved and participating in the program in a given term will be “bumped” by this circumstance.

Examples of Hire Date in a sentence

  • Upon retirement if eligible based on Hire Date in Appendix A (after approximately 15 years), retired teachers who are at least fifty-five (55) years of age at time of retirement will be eligible for District paid contributions toward health insurance in retirement of up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month for employee- only coverage and up to one hundred fifty-two ($152.00) per month for employee-plus-one or family coverage.

  • Rates for full-time new hires and any employee who has not completed the progression (current fulltime or current part- time) will be based on percentage of the current rate: Progression: Months of service from Hire Date At 48 months, employees go to 100% of rate in effect as of that date.

  • Longevity pay will be effective on July 1 of each year, if eligible based on Hire Date listed in Appendix A.


More Definitions of Hire Date

Hire Date means, for any Employee, the date on which he first becomes entitled to credit for an hour for which he is directly or indirectly paid or entitled to be paid by the Company or a Subsidiary for the performance of employment services.
Hire Date means the first day that an employee is employed at the College.
Hire Date means the date an individual first performed services as an employee for the Company, for an entity that is a Designated Subsidiary (as defined in Section 13.6), or (except as provided in Section 13.4(c)) for Kansas City Southern Industries, Inc. or its successor (“KCSI”); provided, however, that the Chief Executive Officer of the Company (or the Committee with respect to Section 16 Persons) can determine that the Hire Date shall be the date an individual first performs service for an entity that later becomes a Designated Subsidiary.

Hire Date means the employee’s first day of work upon hire or, if the employee has a break in service, rehire.
