Labor Relations Meetings. (A) The University and the Lodge recognize the benefit of an exchange of ideas and information. For this reason the Chief of Police welcomes the designated Lodge representatives to meet with him and informally discuss matters of mutual interest and concern to the Lodge and the University.

Labor Relations Meetings. The Township and the OPBA recognize the benefit of exploration and study of current and potential issues which may affect the standard of services to be provided by the Department. Accordingly, the Township and the OPBA agree to establish and maintain Labor Relations Meetings to develop approaches and possible solutions to matters of mutual concern. The matters which may be the subject of these discussions are major changes in operations contemplated by the Township which will affect members of the bargaining units, contemplated changes in the General orders, contemplated changes in police mission, and concerns of the members relative to equipment, uniforms and the like. By mutual agreement, any relevant topic may be considered at these discussions.
Labor Relations Meetings. In the interest of sound labor relations, a Labor Management Committee shall investigate, study, and discuss possible solutions to mutual problems affecting labor and management relations. The Labor Management Committee shall be made up of three (3) members elected by the bargaining units and an alternate, the Township Administrator, the Chief, the Captain and an alternate as well as an ex-officio member from the Lodge. Meetings shall be held quarterly unless otherwise agreed and the Committee Chair shall be rotated quarterly between the Lodge and the Township. Members shall suffer no loss of pay for time spent in Labor Relations meetings. A member may attend during regular working hours without loss of pay. If a member attends a meeting while off duty, the member shall receive one
Labor Relations Meetings. Section 1. In the interest of sound labor/management relations, unless mutually agreed otherwise, the Employer and/or his designee(s) shall meet when requested by either the union or the City periodically on a mutually agreeable day and time, with not more than three (3) representatives of the Union to discuss pending problems and to promote a more harmonious labor/management relationship.
Labor Relations Meetings. The parties hereto agree to hold labor relations meetings at a mutually agreed time as necessary upon the written request of either party to the other, but labor relations meetings shall be held no less often than once every four (4) months, upon the request of either party to the other. The City and the OPBA may have up to four (4) representatives in attendance at the meetings. The Committee may discuss a matter which is covered by this Contract and may make recommendations to the City and the OPBA as to any modification of the contract.

Labor Relations Meetings. The City and the Lodge recognize the benefit of exploration and study of current and/or potential concerns or problems including departmental rules, regulations and policies. The Lodge President, or designee, and two members from each bargaining unit who served on the Lodge's Negotiations Committee for this Contract shall represent the Lodge. With prior mutual approval, either the City or the Lodge may bring additional individuals as may be helpful to the item(s) to be discussed. The Committee may make recommendations to the Lodge President and the Mayor on matters which would affect the Contract.
Labor Relations Meetings. The City and the FOP/OLC recognize the benefit of exploration and the study of current and potential problems and differences via meetings of representatives to exchange views and information without the stress and time limitations which may exist at the bargaining table. Accordingly, the FOP/OLC and the City agree to utilization of the Labor Relations Committee to function during the term of this Agreement to develop approaches and possible solutions to matters of vital concern to both. Included among the matters which can be the subject of these discussions are such things as major changes in operations contemplated by the City which will affect members, contemplated changes in General Orders, contemplated changes in police mission, and concerns of the bargaining unit relative to equipment uniforms, etc. The FOP/OLC members of the Committee shall consist of the FOP/OLC Staff Representative, one member from the bargaining unit who served on the FOP/OLC Negotiations Team for the current Agreement, and the Grievance Chairperson. The City members of the Committee shall consist of the Chief or designee, the Deputy Chief, and the Director of Human Resources.

A member whose scheduled duty hours do not coincide with the meeting time shall have his or her hours flexed to ensure compensation for time spent at the meeting. Not more than one meeting per month shall be compensated in this fashion.
