Union Dues and Initiation Fees. The City agrees to deduct Union dues and initiation fees from the paycheck of each employee within the bargaining unit who has signed an authorized payroll deduction card for the amount certified in writing to the City by the Union as the current rate of membership dues. The City will deduct two and one-quarter (2 ¼) hours of pay as union dues each month at the employee’s base hourly rate in effect for the 1st paycheck of each month. The City will be notified of any change in the rate of membership dues thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such change.

Union Dues and Initiation Fees. The BOARD agrees to deduct initiation fees and monthly UNION membership dues from the first paycheck of each calendar month for each employee from whom it receives written authorization to do so on forms provided by the UNION which are substantially in accordance with the forms presently used and entitled “Authorization for Check-off of Dues.” For all ten (10) month employees, initiation fees and monthly UNION membership dues shall begin with the second paycheck of the school calendar year and continue with the first paycheck for each subsequent month. Such deductions shall be continued until the BOARD receives a written revocation of such authorization or until the employee terminates his/her services with the BOARD in any manner whatsoever. The following additional terms and conditions shall apply:

The local Union will be notified by the employer of the names of such employees following the end of each month in which the termination took place.

Union Dues and Initiation Fees. A. The Employer agrees to deduct the monthly Union dues from the earnings of an employee who has executed an authorization form. During the life of this Agreement and in accordance with the terms of the Authorization of Dues Form hereinafter set forth, the Employer agrees to deduct union membership dues from the pay of each employee who executes or has executed such form and within thirty (30) days after the withholding, remit the aggregate amount to the Treasurer of the Union along with a list of employees who have had said dues deducted.

In view of the above, the dues will continue to be deducted for the next 60 days after intention of withdrawal has been given to the union by the union member.
Union Dues and Initiation Fees. Maintenance of Membership: Any employee who is a member in good standing of the Union at the end of thirty (30) days after the date this provision becomes effective, or who thereafter joins the Union during the term of this Agreement, shall remain a member of the Union in good standing as a condition of employment with the City. For the purpose of this section, an employee shall be considered a member of the Union in good standing if he tenders the periodic dues and initiation fees uniformly required as a condition of membership.
