OFF OF DUES. The City will deduct the regular monthly union dues the pay issued to employees. Such deduction will be made once each pay period and amounts so deducted will, within ten (10) days, be forwarded to National designate. Every employeecovered by this Agreement who is, or becomes shall remain a member during the term of this Agreement. The Union will save the City any claims made by employees for amounts deducted their pay in accordance with the of this Article.
OFF OF DUES. It is agreed by the parties hereto that the employer shall deduct Union dues on all gross earnings of each new employee within the bargaining unit, from date of hire. The Corporation shall provide the Union with a monthly statement of the earnings paid to employees of the bargaining unit from whom dues have been deducted. The Corporation agrees to deduct the dues from the earnings of each employee in the amounts certified by the Union to be in effect according to its constitution and by-laws. Deductions shall be made from the payroll period at the end of each month and shall be forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer of the Union not later than the fifteenth 5th) day of the month following, accompanied by a duplicate list of the names of employees from whose wages the deductions have been made. In consideration of the deducting and forwarding of Union dues in accordance with the foregoing by the Corporation, the Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Corporation against any claim for liability arising out of or resulting from the operations of this section.

OFF OF DUES. There shall be deducted the regular pay of every employee a sum in lieu of membership dues equivalent to the dues of the Public Service Employees Union. The deductions referred to herein shall be remitted to the Ontario Service Employees Union, Head Office, to the attention of the Director of Finance, as soon as following the pay period for which the deduction was made, but not later than the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following. this remittance will be a list containing the name of each employee for which dues have been deducted; the employee’s social insurance number, the salary level upon which the dues calculation was based; the dues remitted on behalf of each employee and the time period for which the remittance is being made.
