Qualifications for Holiday Pay. To qualify for holiday pay, employees covered 14 by this Agreement must have been on pay status their normal work day before or their normal work 15 day following the holiday; provided, however, employees returning from non-pay leave starting work 16 the day after a holiday shall not be entitled to pay for the holiday preceding their first day of work.

Qualifications for Holiday Pay. Employees who are regularly at work when the holiday occurs and not laid off or absent due to sickness (except sickness authorized by doctor's certificate), accident or leave of absence, and who have worked the last regular shift scheduled for them prior to the day on which the holiday is observed, and who work the next regular shift scheduled for them after the holiday is observed, shall be paid for the holiday.

Qualifications for Holiday Pay. All regular employees shall be entitled to take all authorized holidays on full pay, not to exceed eight (8) hours for any one (1) holiday. Employees working a ten (10) hour normal work day shall be entitled to only eight (8) hours for a holiday but may use CTO or vacation time to receive full pay for that day.
