Regular Shift. The normal daily hours of work for a Regular Shift, exclusive of a lunch period as per Article H:03(2), shall be eight (8) hours per day not including a one-half (½) hour daily platform time. The normal work week shall be five (5) days with the days off to be according to the Rotating Schedule of Days Off as shown in Sub-Schedule “H:1".
Regular Shift. If an Employee starts work on a scheduled shift, and is then sent home due to a lack of work, the Employee shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the Employee’s regular straight time rate of pay or for work actually performed, whichever is greater.
Regular Shift. 6.2.0 An employee who reports for work at the Mine Gatehouse, on his/her scheduled shift, (including any scheduled overtime shift), and for whom there is no work at his/her regular or scheduled classification will be offered at least four (4) hours’ employment at other work at his/her appropriate rate of pay, or at the Company’s option, will be paid for four (4) hours’ time at his/her regular straight time rate. This provision shall not apply when such lack of work is due to the lateness of the employee, a labour dispute, fire, flood, power shortage, mechanical or electrical breakdown, which was beyond the control of the Company.
Regular Shift. Regular Shift means a shift that is regularly scheduled as part of the employee’s normal two week rotation for their position. One or more shifts of an available vacant position committed to by an employee, shall become part of that employee’s regular shift until the vacant position is filled as a whole.

Regular Shift. (a) The regular hours of work for other than shift workers shall be posted by each Department and shall include an intermission for meals not to exceed one (1) hour. The normal Operations and Maintenance Department schedules other than shift workers shall be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Upon the com- pletion by the employee of three arid one-half continuous hours of overtime following the completion of the two (2) hour work period by the employee, the employee shall given another meal period of one- half (%) which, in the case of an emergency, shall be at the end of each three and one-half (3%) hour work period. and Overtime Worked Other Immediately Following or Immediately Preceding an Regu- lar Shift An employee who completes three and one-half continuous hours of overtime work any time other than immediately following or preceding the regular shift after being called back to work by the City under Clause or alter the commencement of over- time work previously scheduled by the City under Clause shall be given paid meal period of one-half hour which the City permit the employee to begin at any time within the three and one-half (3%) hour work period if the City estimates that three and one-half (3%) hours of overtime work will be required; provided however that, except in the case of an emergency, the meal period shall begin later than the end of the three and one-half hour work period. Upon the completion the em- ployee of three and one-half continuous hours of overtime work fol- lowing the completion of the three and one-half (3%) hour work period by the employee, the employee shall be given another paid meal period of one- half (%) hour which, except in the case of an emergency, shall be taken at the end of each three and one-half (3%) hour work period. For each meal period given 'to an employee under or Clause the employee shall tie paid one-half hour's pay at double the employee's rate of pay. Regular Shift. Each employee shall be scheduled to work on a regular shift. Each employee shall be scheduled regular hours and a regular work week. Shift schedules are subject to change according to the itinerary schedule described below for classifications listed and for special units and teams, including, but not limited to: Street Crimes, Traffic, Investigations, Transit, Police Administrative Support Specialists, Records, Evidence, Fleet Coordinator, Code Compliance Officers, Program Specialists, Full-time Training Instructor, Canine Handler (K-9), Westside Interagency Narcotics Team (WIN), Interagency Gang Enforcement Team (IGET), Metro Gang Task Force (MGTF), Parking Enforcement and Force Tactic Instructors (FTI).
Regular Shift. All work after the end of a regular working week as provided for in Article 19.02, 19.03 and 20.01 on Monday to Friday inclusive will be paid at the rate of one and one half (1 1/2) times the rate established herein for work performed during the regular working period. Where an employee is required to work beyond the daily provisions in Article 19.02 and 19.03, a non-alcoholic beverage shall be provided during a fifteen (15) minute break at the end of the regular shift and every two (2) hours thereafter at no loss of time to him.
