MATERNITY, PARENTAL AND ADOPTION LEAVES. 10.9.1 The services of an employee who is absent from work under these leaves shall be considered continuous, and the Employer shall continue to make payment to any pension, medical or other plan beneficial to the employee in the same manner as if the employee were not absent.

MATERNITY, PARENTAL AND ADOPTION LEAVES. Upon written request, an employee shall be entitled to maternity, parental and adoption leaves of absence without pay and without loss of seniority as provided for by and pursuant to the Canada Labour Code. An employee returning to work after maternity, parental or adoption leave shall provide the Employer with at least two (2) weeks’ notice. On return from maternity, parental or adoption leave, the employee will be placed in a position consistent with the Canada Labour Code and the seniority provisions of this Agreement. While on maternity, parental or adoption leave, the employee shall be entitled to all provisions of this Collective Agreement other than those mentioned.
