Shift Workers definition
Shift Workers means only those employees engaged as such.
Shift Workers shall be entitled to 190 hours leave per annum for each year of service, calculated on average hours of work per week over a roster period. eg. a full time pool attendant on 38hours per week, will be entitled to 190hours per annum.

Employees shall receive a shift premium of twenty-five cents ($0.25) for all hours worked by Employees designated as Shift Workers.
Shift Workers are those Employees who are routinely scheduled at least half their shifts on other than the day shift (all eight (8) hour shifts starting between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. are defined as the day shift).

More Definitions of Shift Workers
Shift Workers means an employee who;
6.9.1 Works on any day for any scheduled times rostered in a rotation in a business 24 hours a day for 7 days a week; and
6.9.2 Is regularly rostered to work those shifts; and
6.9.3 Regularly works on Sundays and public holidays
Shift Workers. A shift worker under this Agreement and for the purposes of the National Employment Standards shall mean an employee who is regularly rostered to: • Work on Sundays or public holidays (who is therefore a seven-day shift worker), OR • Commence ordinary hours on any days of the week from Monday to Friday prior to 4.00am, OR • Rostered to finish ordinary hours on any days of the week from Monday to Friday after 7.00pm.
Shift Workers means employees assigned to a job on a regularly rotating shift schedule. All other employees are considered day workers.
