Wage Rates. Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Wage Rates. 24.1 All Employees working under this Agreement shall be classified according to Schedule B of the Award using the classification structure set out in Appendix A of this Agreement as a guide.
Wage Rates. The Contractor shall not pay less than the wage scale of the various classes of labor as shown on the “Prevailing Wage Schedule” provided by the Owner. The specified wage rates are minimum rates only. The Owner is not bound to pay any claims for additional compensation made by any contractor because the Contractor pays wages in excess of the applicable minimum rate contained in the Contract. The “Prevailing Wage Schedule” is not a representation that qualified labor adequate to perform the Work is available locally at the prevailing wage rates.
Wage Rates. The latest prevailing wage rates for private employment on public contracts as determined by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations, as such prevailing wage rates may be changed during the term of this Agreement, are hereby incorporated as provisions of this Agreement. Copies of the prevailing wage rates as fixed and determined by the Board of Supervisors are available from the Office of Labor Standards and Enforcement (“OLSE”) and on the Internet at xxxx://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/DLSR/PWD and xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/prevailing-wage. Contractor agrees that it shall pay not less than the prevailing wage rates, as fixed and determined by the Board, to all workers employed by Contractor who perform Covered Services under this Agreement.

The County will not recognize any claim for additional compensation because of the payment by the Contractor of any wage rate in excess of the prevailing wage rate set forth in the Contract. The possibility of wage increases is one of the elements to be considered by the Contractor in determining his bid, and will not under any circumstances be considered as the basis of a claim against the County on the Contract. Pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Labor Code, a contractor shall be registered to be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any public work contract that is subject to the requirements of this chapter. For the purposes of this section, “contractor” includes a subcontractor as defined by Section 1722.1. It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded. The County will not accept a bid nor enter any contract or subcontract without proof of the contractor or subcontractor’s current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. Wage Rates. 14:01 The Province of Ontario is divided into four zones as indicated on the map inserted at the end of this Collective Agreement. The location of the dividing lines between the zones is described in Appendix "B" of this Collective Agreement.
