Shift Differential. Nurses assigned to work the second (3-11 p.m.) shift shall be paid a shift differential of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour over the hourly contract rates of pay. Nurses assigned to work the third (11 p.m. - 7 a.m.) shift shall be paid a shift differential of four dollars ($4.00) per hour over the hourly contract rates of pay. Nurses shall be paid shift differential for those hours worked on a second or third shift if two (2) or more hours are worked on the designated shift.
Shift Differential. The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.
Shift Differential. Section 1. An employee whose work shift consisting of 7.5 or 8 work hours on a scheduled work day begins before 6:00 a.m. or at or after 12:00 noon will be paid a shift differential of $1.00 per hour for all such hours worked on that shift.
Shift Differential. The Employer shall pay a shift differential to an employee who works a qualifying shift. A qualifying shift means a full-time or permanent part-time shift, which starts at or after 2 P.M. and at or before 1 A.M. The Employer shall pay a shift differential on a prorated basis to an employee who works any part of a qualifying shift. The rate of shift differential pay shall be $0.625/hour for all classifications in salary grades 5through 17. The Employer may not pay a shift differential to an employee who is on leave.
Shift Differential. 1. Shift differential is defined as the premium authorized to be paid to an employee above his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay for working a regularly scheduled shift other than a day shift. A regularly scheduled shift is a shift created by the department that is the same schedule for at least a month. A day shift is defined as any regularly scheduled work shift that begins no earlier than 5:00 a.m., or ends no later than 7:00 p.m. Only regularly scheduled shifts that begin or end outside the 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. time period shall be eligible for shift differential pay. The amount of shift differential shall be computed as four percent (4%) of base salary for the shift worked. Shift differential will be paid on annual leave and holidays but shall not be paid for sick leave hours or on buy out at the time of separation from the County.
Shift Differential. Notwithstanding the provisions of Note N of Schedule A of Section 4.61 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code, any employee, when required to work 50% or more of his/her time during his/her regular shift on any one day between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m., shall receive for each such day worked, salary at the second premium level rate above the appropriate step rate of the salary range prescribed for his/her classification. The procedure for the payment of adjusted compensation for work performed under the provisions of this Article shall be in accordance with Sections 4.72, 4.74, and 4.75 of the Los Angeles Administrative Code.
Shift Differential. (a) A Shift differential of $2.75 per hour shall be paid:
Shift Differential. A. Employees of the Commonwealth rendering service on a second or third shift as hereinafter defined shall receive a shift differential of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for each hour worked.
Shift Differential. A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour.
Shift Differential. A shift differential of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour shall be paid on all hours worked between 1800 hours and 0600 hours.
