These activities may include: professional reading formal courses of study active membership of a professional education organisation (e.g. subject association) relevant workshops, seminars and lectures paraprofessional work (e.g. moderation and marking for SCSA) contribution to relevant publications mentoring colleagues, student teachers and beginning teachers educational research committee work observation visits participation in subject-related community activities (e.g. environmental groups, choirs, etc.) and other relevant activities

Teacher’s Responsibilities. 1. Teachers shall be responsible for the supervision of school property and school children, whenever they may be in school related circumstances. Teachers shall also be responsible for proper student behavior within their classroom and shall accept corridor and playground supervision when such supervision is needed for the safety and control of students during school hours.
