School Director. Duties and Authorities The School Director will be hired, supervised, evaluated, compensated and (if necessary) terminated by the Board of Directors. The School Director is the chief administrator of Palouse Prairie School and will be granted appropriate authority by the Board to allow for the administration and management of Palouse Prairie School, in accordance with Board policies and directives, and Idaho State and Federal Law. The School Director is authorized to develop administrative procedures to implement Board policy and to delegate duties and responsibilities as necessary. Delegation of authority or duty, however, shall not relieve the School Director of responsibility for the action which was delegated. Qualifications and Appointment The School Director must be of good character and of unquestionable integrity and comply with the Idaho State Department Code of Ethics. The School Director shall have the experience and the skills necessary to work effectively with the Board of Directors, Palouse Prairie School employees, parents/legal guardians, students, and the community. The School Director will hold all administrative credentials or certificates as required by Idaho State Law or will be working towards those required credentials as approved by the Idaho Bureau of Certification’s Alternative Authorization process. Additionally, the School Director is expected to engage in ongoing professional development as required to maintain appropriate certifications and at the discretion of the Board. When the office of the School Director becomes vacant, the Board will conduct a search to find the most capable person for the position. Qualified staff members who apply for the position will be considered for the vacancy.

School Director. Because the accountability of Education Provider to the Board is an essential foundation of this relationship, and because the responsibility of School Director of the School is critical to its success, the Board delegates to Education Provider the authority and responsibility, consistent with State law, to make recommendations for the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and termination of School Director for Board approval, with such approval not to be unreasonably withheld, and to assist in holding School Director accountable for the success of the school.
School Director. The school director will be responsible for all matters relating to student, teacher, and parent programs, including the development of the organizational culture of the school. The school director will work to align all stakeholders (teachers, staff, students, families, and board members) to reinforce and carry out the school’s mission, hire a diverse and capable staff, and educate the community about the school. USN schools will fill each school director role with dedicated professionals who will receive at least a year of intensive training. This school director training ensures that each school leader understands and can balance academic, financial, and operational and community responsibilities during the dynamic stages of starting and growing a successful, high-performing charter school. School leaders will receive focused instruction and curriculum development and leadership training, as well as field experience gained by working as an academic leader within existing USN schools. Director of Curriculum and Instruction (DCI) The DCI will provide daily support of teaching and learning, complete classroom observation and feedback cycles, implement curriculum, maintain quality of instruction, manage the various assessment systems at the school, and lead effective data analysis. The DCI will also work to continually improve the level of instruction at the school, with regular professional development on the teaching taxonomy. Finally, he/she will supervise and coordinate the special-education program at the school. Xxxx of Students (DOS) The DOS will oversee school culture, handle discipline, and manage all after-school programming and activities. The DOS will work with the school director and the family and student coordinator to plan engaging school events, celebrate the academic and character successes of students, and work with the rest of the leadership team to engage families in the school. This position will be added after year one.

  • Medical Director The Contractor shall employ the services of a Medical Director who is a licensed Indiana Health Care Provider (IHCP) provider board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. If the Medical Director is not board certified in family medicine, they shall be supported by a clinical team with experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, adult medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. The Medical Director shall be dedicated full-time to the Contractor’s Indiana Medicaid product lines. The Medical Director shall oversee the development and implementation of the Contractor’s disease management, case management and care management programs; oversee the development of the Contractor’s clinical practice guidelines; review any potential quality of care problems; oversee the Contractor’s clinical management program and programs that address special needs populations; oversee health screenings; serve as the Contractor’s medical professional interface with the Contractor’s primary medical providers (PMPs) and specialty providers; and direct the Quality Management and Utilization Management programs, including, but not limited to, monitoring, corrective actions and other quality management, utilization management or program integrity activities. The Medical Director, in close coordination with other key staff, is responsible for ensuring that the medical management and quality management components of the Contractor’s operations are in compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Medical Director shall work closely with the Pharmacy Director to ensure compliance with pharmacy-related responsibilities set forth in Section 3.4. The Medical Director shall attend all OMPP quality meetings, including the Quality Strategy Committee meetings. If the Medical Director is unable to attend an OMPP quality meeting, the Medical Director shall designate a representative to take his or her place. Notwithstanding the Medical Director ‘s sending of a representative, the Medical Director shall be responsible for knowing and taking appropriate action on all agenda and action items from all OMPP quality meetings.

  • Executive Director (a) The HMO must employ a qualified individual to serve as the Executive Director for its HHSC HMO Program(s). Such Executive Director must be employed full-time by the HMO, be primarily dedicated to HHSC HMO Program(s), and must hold a Senior Executive or Management position in the HMO’s organization, except that the HMO may propose an alternate structure for the Executive Director position, subject to HHSC’s prior review and written approval.
