Unauthorized Absences Clause Samples

The Unauthorized Absences clause defines the rules and consequences related to an employee's absence from work without prior approval or valid justification. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes an unauthorized absence, such as missing work without notifying a supervisor or failing to provide required documentation for leave. It may specify disciplinary actions, including warnings, deductions from pay, or even termination, depending on the frequency or severity of the absences. The core function of this clause is to discourage unapproved absences, promote accountability, and ensure consistent workplace attendance.
