Job Rotation. Selection for job rotation training will be made only from those employees whose job performance and potential warrant it. It is intended that job rotation will provide selected employees with wider experience and knowledge, to the joint benefit of the individual and the Employer. Job rotation will not interfere in any way with the normal procedure to be followed in the filling of job vacancies as set out in this Agreement. The selection of employees for job rotation will be the responsibility of Division Managers, but employees may apply to be considered for this training. However, employees are not obligated to accept invitations to take part in job rotation. Selected employees will have their assignments on each job rotation reviewed with them in detail, as follows:
Job Rotation. Employees may identify to their Manager a desire to be transferred into other work areas, including positions outside of the Bargaining Unit, for work experience and career development. The Company shall provide favourable consideration to such requests and accommodate them wherever practicable. Job rotation assignments for the purposes of career development will be an exception to Article 11 and will be made with the agreement of both the employee and SPEA. Such job rotation assignments will not normally extend beyond one (1) year.
Job Rotation. 2.4.1 Employer relocating an Employee to a new location The Employer may rotate an Employee from one location to another to perform functions outside their usual duties, provided that the Employee has the training and competency to do so and the transfer is reasonable taking into account the Employee’s personal needs and circumstances. Provided that the Employer shall request volunteers prior to requiring any Employee to relocate and the Employee will be reimbursed for any extra travel costs that the Employee incurs.
Job Rotation. (a) It is a condition of employment that all Employees perform duties and functions for which they have the skills and training to perform and that they are prepared to undertake training to perform tasks outside their usual duties
Job Rotation. During the current negotiations the parties discussed the benefits of job rotation. The Company agreed to implement job rotation for as many employees as practical, to the extent that this would not in any way impede or jeopardize the quality and efficiency of the production process. Upon implementing job rotation, the Company will assess its effects on the production process on an ongoing basis and shall meet with the Plant Chairperson and the Union Health & Safety Co-chairperson to discuss the findings of the assessment. Depending on these findings, the Company reserves the right to modify the job rotation program as required.
Job Rotation. In order to qualify for a job rotation, an employee must meet the minimum qualification for the classification in which the position resides. If the person selected for the job rotation is coming from a higher classification, they will retain their current rate of pay. If the person selected for the job rotation is coming from a lower classification, they go over to the higher salary range and one step up from their current position, or go to step one in the new salary range, and go on promotional probation as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
Job Rotation. Upon completion of the probationary period, each employee will take part in a scheduled rotation. Example work areas: Component Insert and Stock Demould Finishing Materials LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING #5 TEMPORARY ABSENCE PROGRAM This letter of understanding outlines the application of Temporary absence Work Release Program when approved by the Ministry of Correctional Services. The Company agreed that it would participate in such a program provided that:
Job Rotation. McDonald’s believe in the practice of job rotation. This enables you to experience all aspects of your Restaurant's operation and provides the employer with a well-trained and versatile person who can be assigned to any of the several stations. Normally, during rush periods, you will be assigned to your best station so that our customers get the best service we can offer. During the slow periods, you'll be asked to work other stations to gain greater familiarity and expertise. If you feel you would like to be trained on other positions you are free to ask your management team for the opportunity.
Job Rotation. In the event an employee with less seniority is upgraded or job rotated under this clause over an employee with more seniority, the senior may appeal such to the General Manager and the General Manager shall review such decision with the Shop Committee. The Company and the Union recognize the desirability for job rotation on an equitable basis. Job rotation shall be based on seniority and ability to do the work required in the allocation of job rotation assignments. Where the Company passes over a senior employee for such rotation, the Company will discuss with such employee the reasons why in an effort to allow the employee an opportunity to improve self for future job rotation opportunities. All Ground Service Equipment Maintenance employees shall be entitled to a ten minute paid wash-up period prior to the end of their shift.

In recognition of operational and efficiency requirements of the Employer, and to create more varied and interesting work, the Employer may rotate you from one location to another to perform functions outside your usual duties, provided that you have the training and competency to do so and the transfer is reasonable taking into account your personal needs and circumstances.
