Job Search. The Employer should assist surplus staff to find alternative employment by allowing them a reasonable amount of time off work to attend job interviews without loss of pay. This is subject to the Employer being notified of the time and location of the interview before the employee is released to attend it.
Job Search. All affected employees from the time of being given notice under Clause 3.a above of this Appendix will be allowed to take reasonable time on full pay to prepare a curriculum vitae, attend counselling with counsellors agreed by the employer, attend job interviews and attend job training. Reimbursement shall be made for reasonable costs incurred in preparation of a curriculum vitae and counselling referred to previously. The costs of job training may also be met but will be decided by the employer on a case by case basis.
Job Search. Employees who are notified of a layoff for a definite period of time shall be entitled to two (2) half days of release time for the purpose of seeking employment. This release time shall not be used for any other purpose. Employees who are notified of a lay off for an indefinite period of time shall be entitled to five (5) half days of release time for the purpose of seeking employment.
Job Search. It is the intent of the County to allow a reasonable amount of County time for job search for workers whose positions have been identified as at risk of elimination.
Job Search. Should an employee find a job and leave his/her employment whilst under notice of retrenchment he/she will receive all retrenchment entitlements contained herein.

Prior to the fourth week, participants shall have completed the following: Development of a resume and cover letter Master application Mock interviewing Review appropriate dress attire for job search. Participants will have completed shopping field trip to purchase interview clothing. CONTRACTOR shall meet with participants daily during the job search activity to verify that the participant is completing the job search as required per COUNTY regulations. The job search forms will be included in the exit packet from Jobs 2000. Collaboration between the CONTRACTOR, the Jobs 2000 liaison and the DSS Case Manager will ensure that the participant receives the needed supportive services to conduct the job search. JOBS 2000 PROGRAM CURRICULUM Curriculum: Jobs 2000 will consist of a four-week job readiness workshop followed by a one week job search. A team of two Workshop Facilitators will conduct the workshops. The Workshop Facilitators will monitor the job search daily during the fifth week. DSS reserves the right to continuously monitor CONTRACTOR’s facilitators to ensure quality service to the participants. Should a conflict arise with a facilitator, DSS reserves the right to request that the facilitator in question be removed from Jobs 2000. Curriculum must include the following topics: JOBS 2000 JOB READINESS Workshop topics must include the following; Lifestyle Changes Goal Setting & Attainment Problem Solving Obtaining & Retaining Employment Employer Expectations Lifelong Learning Domestic Abuse Effective Communication Substance Abuse Teamwork Appropriate Dress & Hygiene/Body Money Management Parenting & Family Wellness (min. 10 hrs.) Resume Preparation Anger Management (min. 10 hrs.) Nutrition Education *Graduation Ceremony to be held on the last day of week four (4) CONTRACTOR shall provide the below listed, additional Jobs 2000 required elements: The intent of the Jobs 2000 is to provide services through a collaborative in the One Stop environment making it easier for the participant to obtain various services through one location.
