Continuation Article Clause Samples
A Continuation Article is a contractual provision that ensures certain rights, obligations, or terms of an agreement remain in effect even after the main contract has expired or been terminated. Typically, this clause applies to sections dealing with confidentiality, dispute resolution, or indemnification, specifying that these obligations survive the end of the contractual relationship. Its core practical function is to maintain the enforceability of key provisions that are intended to outlast the contract itself, thereby protecting the interests of the parties beyond the contract’s formal duration.
