UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. A) The provision of Winter Weather Outwear (overalls and jackets) for employees whose work is such that winter weather outwear is needed to perform the work assignment will be provided on an “as needed basis” and at the complete and sole discretion of the City.

UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. An employee shall, on leaving employment, return the current issue of uniform clothing which has been issued to them by the Agency in good order, reasonable wear and tear excepted. An employee failing to do so shall be charged an amount equal to the cost price of the uniform/clothing concerned.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. A. Exempt employees whose assignment requires that they wear a uniform while performing certain responsibilities of the position shall be provided uniforms which have been approved by the department and which are compatible with those worn by the officers of the department. The department will not provide, nor compensate employees, for the purchase of clothing that may be considered normal wearing apparel.

UNIFORMS/CLOTHING a) Each employee in Red Deer or other location shall be provided winter and summer clothing including trousers and shorts in accordance with the regulations stipulated by either the City of Lethbridge or the City of Red Deer, as applicable. Full time employees will receive an annual allowance of one hundred twenty five dollars ($125) for trousers and shorts. Part time employees shall receive an annual allowance of fifty dollars ($50) for trousers and shorts.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. Within 21 days of hire the City shall provide new Employees with the initial clothing allotment (Appendix D). As of August 31, of each year of this agreement the Employer shall determine what existing outerwear garments are serviceable and what needs re-issue by September 30. For Employees hired after September 30, the outerwear shall be issued within 21 days of hire. Footwear - A maximum of $300.00 per calendar year will be provided. Employees shall be allowed to roll over the $300.00 allotment for 2 years for a total of $600.00, if warranted for the purchase or repair of work appropriate footwear. The receipt for reimbursement shall be submitted to the City with the personal expense voucher for payment. No reimbursements will be made after receipt of the separation notice.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. 19.1 When uniforms are required by the Company, they will be provided at no cost to employees who have completed the probationary period, as well as subsequent essential replacements. When uniform clothing is so supplied to an employee, he/she will be responsible for protection against loss and maintenance of same in a clean, neat and repaired condition.

UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. 32.1 Employees covered by this section, Custodians, shall receive an allowance for uniforms. The uniform shall consist of dark blue or black trousers or jeans, collared blue shirts, all black shoes or coaches shoes, or work or winter boots. The Town will provide iron on logos for the shirts. All clothing and footwear shall be kept in suitable, clean, and in good repair condition. Shorts or sneakers are not acceptable. Employees covered by this section shall be solely responsible for cleaning and maintaining all clothing purchased hereunder and any employee covered by this section who fails to clean, maintain, or wear such clothing during work hours shall be subject to disciplinary action. Employees covered by this agreement will receive a clothing allowance of $250 received annually by the 1st of August each fiscal year. Such allowance will be paid directly to the employee.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. The Employer shall provide to each permanent Employee free of charge at least the following items • $200 gross shoe/sock/stocking allowance per annum, paid in the full pay period in March each year Three pairs of pants or skirts (or a combination totalling 3) • Two Suit Jackets/Pants • One transfer jacket • Five shirts • One jumper A casual Employee will be provided with a uniform. An Employee in their probationary period, will not be provided with a uniform until they become a permanent Employee, if applicable. The above items shall be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis and/or in accordance with the Employer's uniform policy at the time. The above allowance will be paid in the first full pay period of March each year, it is a condition that the shoes are polishable black shoes consistent with the Employer's policy. The Employer shall be responsible for dry cleaning costs where the item of clothing is dry clean only, provided that the Employer has approved the dry cleaning agency. The Employee is responsible to ensure that their uniform is neat and tidy at all times. All uniforms must be returned to the Employer immediately upon termination, for whatever reason. The Employer reserves the right to deduct from the Employees pay the value of any uniforms not returned to the Employer or that have been willfully damaged, on termination.
UNIFORMS/CLOTHING. 23.1 All protective clothing and equipment as required by the Washington Vertical Safety Standards for Fire Fighters and other applicable statutes shall be supplied and cleaned at no cost to employees covered under this Agreement.
