WORK CLOTHING. 1. The State shall continue to furnish foul weather gear and work clothing, such as aprons, smocks, shop coats, lab coats, coveralls and boots to employees furnished such clothing in the past. The State shall be responsible for continuing to provide laundering of work clothing where such service is being provided as of the effective date of this Agreement.
WORK CLOTHING a) The minimum clothing suitable for work at the facility or job location will be appropriate to the tasks being performed and when required by CCI facility management.
WORK CLOTHING. (a) Where the Employer requires an employee to wear a uniform, or special or protective clothing, or special equipment, the Employer shall be responsible for its provision, replacement, cleaning and/or laundering except that washable garments shall be cleaned and/or laundered by the employee.
WORK CLOTHING. 26.1 Matters pertaining to the provision and maintenance of work clothing shall be in accordance with the terms of the Component Agreements, except those matters provided for in Article 26 herein.
WORK CLOTHING. Overalls, coveralls, quilted bib overalls, parkas, gloves and pants and shirts when appropriate, are supplied to employees whose work requires such and return of worn-out article may be necessary, as determined by the Employer, to obtain a replacement. The Employer will make a reasonable effort to make work clothing available.
WORK CLOTHING. 23.01 For Physical Plant Services and Residence Operations employees the University agrees to provide 4 sets (shirts and trousers) during each contract year. The University will develop a listing of other clothing choices of equivalent value from which employees may choose substitutes to the items listed above. The Employer will specify colour, style and design of the clothing. Employees who receive such work clothing will wear that clothing while at work. Grounds employees (Group E) shall have the option of receiving a parka once per calendar year.
WORK CLOTHING. 262. All employees covered by the provisions of this MOU shall be provided with changes of work clothing as deemed appropriate by and authorized by the appointing officer. At a minimum, employees will be provided with five (5) sets of work clothing as well as a work jacket and one pair of coveralls. Such work clothing will be replaced at least annually or more often, at the discretion of the appointing officer. Where the employee is regularly in contact with sewage or hazardous or contagious materials the employer will provide a clean change of clothing each working day. Supervisory classes 5148, 5149, 7120, 7205, 7203, 7223, 7262, and 9232 shall be excluded from this provision, unless, at the discretion of the Appointing Officer, it is deemed that a work situation requires the supervisor to work in the field and warrants providing work clothing. When the parties agree to provide reimbursement in lieu of providing work clothing, individual departments may, after consulting with the Union over the amount and method of payment, pay a cash uniform allowance which shall be no less than $500 per year. This provision is not subject to the grievance process.
WORK CLOTHING. 357. The SFMTA agrees to continue the current practice of providing protective work clothing to employees in classifications, 7371 Electrical Transit System Mechanic, 7380 Electrical Transit Mechanic Assistant Supervisor, 7319 Electric Motor Repairer, 7430 Assistant Electronic Maintenance Technician, 7432 Electrical Line Helper, 7345 Electrician, 7318 Electronic Maintenance Technician, 7329 Electronics Maintenance Technician Assistant Supervisor, 7366 Transit Power Line Worker, 7390 Welder, 7510 Lighting Fixture Maintenance Worker, 9145 Traffic Signal Electrician, 9147 Traffic Signal Electrician Supervisor I.
WORK CLOTHING. 274. The City agrees to continue the current practice of providing protective work clothing to employees in classifications, 7319 Electric Motor Repairer, 7430 Assistant Electronic Maintenance Technician, 7432 Electrical Line Helper, 7308 Cable Splicer, 7338 Electrical Line Worker, 7229 Transmission Line Supervisor I, 9240 Airport Electrician, 9354 Elevator and Crane Technician, 7345 Electrician, 7318 Electronic Maintenance Technician, 7390 Welder, 7510 Lighting Fixture Maintenance Worker, 6248 Electrical Inspector, 6249 Senior Electrical Inspector, 7238 Electrician Supervisor I, 7329 Electronics Maintenance Technician Assistant Supervisor, and 7350 Transmission and Distribution Line Worker.
WORK CLOTHING. 26.1 All matters pertaining to the provision and maintenance of work clothing shall be in accordance with the terms of the Agreement.
