Reporting Late. Any employee who for good reason is unable to report for work at the specified time shall at the Supervisor's discretion be allowed to commence work 15, 30, or 60 minutes late.

Reporting Late. (a) An Operator reporting late may be used on any assignment including Report. An Operator shall forfeit seniority rights for the day but shall be used on assignments open after a choice has been made by persons on Report.

Reporting Late. Employees who report late to their work station after start of shift shall be paid on the following basis: not more than three (3) minutes, no loss of pay; four (4) minutes to six (6) minutes, lose 1/10 of an hour’s pay; seven (7) minutes to twelve (12) minutes, lose 2/10 of an hour’s pay; and so on.

ASSIGNMENT OF WORK (Formerly XXX Maintenance Garage Garage Sign-ups Lists will be posted annually (or more often) permitting choice of shifts on a seniority basis, competency considered. The wages of four (4) Union Representatives will be paid by the Employer for the purpose of participating in and operating duty sign-ups. The basis of payment for the Representatives will be nine (9) hours at straight-time.

Time is to be made up on the same day and/or the next working day, but in any event, in no more than two (2) intervals. If a late start of ten (10) minutes or less is anticipated, this is considered within the grace period and does not need to be reported. The grace period is only to be used occasionally and when used, the time will be made up the same day. On-Call Pay Employees shall not receive compensation for being on-call unless they are required to perform work on behalf of the Employer. In the event that an employee who has been asked to be on-call is required to attend at the Employer's premises to perform work on its behalf, said employee shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours overtime pay, calculated as set out above. Make-Up Time / Appointments Employees may request alteration to their hours of work on a specific date for the purposes of appointments (i.e. dental appointment). The alteration could be late start, extended lunch or early departure. The requests are to be made on an as needed basis and should not lead to regular / recurring alteration of hours of work. The request is to be submitted by email to the Human Resources and Administration team at (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx) as soon as practicable. Every attempt will be made to approve pending coverage requirements. The employee is to identify if the time missed is to be made up by use of banked lieu time (per 9.03 above) or by working make-up time. If the latter, the employee is to identify when the time will be made up and to subsequently confirm once this has been done. Time is to be made up on the same day and/or within the next five (5) working days, but in any event, in no more than two (2) intervals.
