Association President Release Time. Each school year, the Association president and/or Association designee (with Superintendent approval) will be given paid combined release time up to ten (10) days for the purpose of addressing Association business. Each school year, official delegates of the Association will be allowed to leave without loss of pay to attend regularly scheduled official meetings of the state education association (i.e. IEA Delegate Assembly, standing committees, and task force meetings.) Substitute costs will be borne by the District.

Association President Release Time. The President of the Association shall be entitled to full-time release from their teaching duties without loss of pay, benefits, or seniority in order to conduct duties as President. The President’s salary will be based on the terms of the Agreement. The costs associated with this release time shall be incorporated into the Agreement settlement. The Association will provide the District reasonable notice of any change in President.
Association President Release Time. A unit member in the position of President of the Pickerington Education Association, upon agreement with the Superintendent/designee, will be granted a leave of absence between one-half (1/2) and full-time over the period of one (1) school year. The request shall be submitted by February 1st of the school year preceding the year for which the leave is requested. (In the first year of full-time release, the Association shall notify the Superintendent no later than April 1st of the school year preceding the year for which the leave is requested.) For the year in which the leave is taken, the President of the Association shall receive the same salary benefits, under the same conditions as he/she would receive if not on such leave provided that:

Association President Release Time. In addition to release time to investigate a grievance, the OUCMT President shall have release time to conduct other Association business. The total amount of release time for investigating grievances and for other Association business shall not exceed one-half (1/2) of the OUCMT President’s scheduled work week or twenty (20) hours in any one week whichever is less, unless specific authorization for additional release time is provided by the Assistant Vice President of University Human Resources, or his/her designee. The scheduling of such time off, except for emergency situations requiring the OUCMT President’s presence, shall be in the discretion of the OUCMT President’s supervisor and, except as herein set forth, the OUCMT President shall report to his/her work station and perform such work as required by his/her supervisor.
Association President Release Time. Association President's Release Time - The College shall provide at no cost to the Association, five (5) contact hours of paid release time or overload, with two (2) contact hours for Fall term, two (2) contact hours for Spring term and one (1) contact hour for summer term during the Academic Year. The KFA President will be available for consultation during the summer.

Association President Release Time. The president of the Association shall be relieved of all additional assignments beyond regular teaching duties (e.g., study hall supervision, hall supervision, detention study hall). If the Avoca Teachers’ Association President is a secondary teacher, the Association agrees to negotiate the terms and conditions of this section.
Association President Release Time. The District shall grant release time up to a maximum of full-time release for one school year to an employee elected or appointed President of the Association. If less than full time, the release time must be arranged to the mutual satisfaction of the Association and the District. Request for such release time shall be made by the Association President not less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to commencement of the release time and shall specify the termination date of the release time. The release time shall be for regular, consistent periods of time rather than on an irregular schedule. The Association shall reimburse the District for the Association President release time. The reimbursement will include all sources of compensation and benefits, including TRI. No documentation of TRI is required to be provided to the District. Any additional stipend the President receives, as determined by the Association, shall be paid by the District as extended days and reimbursed by the Association. Compensation that exceeds the highest paid employee in the Association will not be accepted by the Department of Retirement Services. The District shall bill the Association for President release time no later than August 20 of the concluding school year. Presidential release time, however, shall not penalize the employee's standing with regard to position and movement on the salary schedule, seniority, retirement, insurance, and other benefits, eligibility, and rights accorded other employees covered by provisions of this Agreement unless specifically limited by law or State regulation. An Association President returning from a leave of absence shall be placed in the same or similar position. Conditional upon written approval from an authority at the Department of Retirement Services.
Association President Release Time. The Association President, or the President’s designee will be released for up to 15 of the 189 workdays to attend Association business. The Association will pay the substitute cost for the non-work days. The Association President will be relieved of any supervisory assignments (e.g.: study hall, lunch room monitoring, bus duty, etc.) during their work day. Equal time will be arranged if the President comes from the Manor and/or Lima Primary buildings.
