Unit Member definition

Unit Member refers to any employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article II.
Unit Member means any employee under contract to the "District", including part-time and temporary, who is included in the appropriate unit as defined in Article II and therefore covered by the terms and provisions of this Agreement.

Examples of Unit Member in a sentence

  • In the event of death in the family of a Bargaining Unit Member, that Bargaining Unit Member shall be granted up to five (5) days leave, per death, exclusive of sick leave, after requesting such leave from the Building Principal.

  • A Bargaining Unit Member shall keep the Administrators informed about his/her address at all times during the summer so that such consultation about changes can be made if they are necessary.

  • For each Bargaining Unit Member, at the end of each school year, his/her unused personal days will be added to his/her accumulated sick leave.

  • If a Bargaining Unit Member leaves work due to physical disability, the Bargaining Unit Member shall be entitled to apply the member’s accumulated sick leave to the time the Bargaining Unit Member is absent due to this disability.

  • All benefits to which a Bargaining Unit Member was entitled at the time his/her leave of absence commenced, including unused accumulated sick leave and credits toward sabbatical leave eligibility, will be restored to him/her upon his/her return, and he/she will be assigned to the same position which he/she held at the time said leave commenced, if available, or, if not, to a substantially equivalent position.

Unit Member means any certificated employee of the Charter School who is included in the appropriate unit as defined in Article 2 and therefore covered by the terms and provisions of this Agreement.
