For absence due to bona fide illness, employees shall be granted sick leave on the basis on one and one half days at normal rate of pay for each full calendar month of employment on the active payroll. Any employee hired after the date of ratification, shall earn sick leave credits (retroactive to their original date of hire) upon the successful completion of their probationary period.
