Jury Duty or Crown Witness. Any employee who is called for Jury Duty or Crown Witness shall be paid his normal rate of pay while serving in such capacity, providing the employee returns to the employer all money received for such service less any actual expenses.

Jury Duty or Crown Witness. Should a Team Member be called for jury duty or selection or subpoenaed as a Crown witness in a criminal proceeding, the Company will supplement his/her jury or witness pay to ensure that the Team Member will receive the total monies equivalent to the lost straight time regularly scheduled hours for those days he/she would have actually been at work during his/her service on a jury or as a Crown witness. In calculating the jury duty pay or witness fee, any travelling allowances or out of pocket expenses that have been paid to a Team Member by the Court shall not be included. In order for a Team Member to qualify for payment under this Article, he/she must:
Jury Duty or Crown Witness. The City shall grant a leave of absence without loss of seniority, pay or benefits for an employee who must serve as a juror or is subpoenaed as a crown witness in any court. The City shall pay the employee the difference between his/her regular non-overtime daily earnings less the payment received by the employee for serving as a juror or a crown witness, this will exclude payment received for traveling expenses, parking and meals. The employee will advise the City as much in advance as possible and shall provide proof of service and the amount of payment received. In the case of cancellation, postponement or early adjournment with respect to the above, the employee is to contact the City with respect to reporting to a work assignment on that day.

They shall be paid the difference between the employee's regular wage and the amount of the Jury fee received. The Employee must supply the Employer with an official certificate signed by the Court stating the amount of the fee received.
