JOB POSTINGS AND FILLING VACANCIES. 1201 Job Postings 1202 All Health Care Professional job vacancies, in classifications covered by this Agreement, will be posted for seven (7) calendar days. In the event that a position is posted as “willing to train,” such position shall be awarded to the most senior applicant. All job postings shall be provided to the Local Affiliate Co‐Chairs/Presidents at the time of posting. This shall occur in either paper or electronic format. All qualified Health Care Professionals who submit transfer or promotion requests after the seven (7) day posting period shall be given equal consideration with outside applicants, and if all candidates (internal and external) are equally qualified at the conclusion of the screening and interview process, said candidates will be given preference first by the local affiliate where the job is posted, then by outside KP affiliates. The tiebreaker for purposes of this paragraph will be the date of hire as a KP Health Care Professional. It is understood that Management maintains the final hiring decision. The Employer shall provide the Union a one‐time thirty (30) day advance notice of its intent to begin simultaneously posting Health Care Professional job vacancies both internally and externally. The simultaneous internal and external posting shall not diminish the rights of any bargaining unit Health Care Professional who bids on an open position within the seven (7) day posting period. 1203 Health Care Professionals shall be eligible to transfer to a job opening three (3) times within a calendar year starting from their date of hire. New hires will be allowed one (1) transfer during their probationary period, provided that the position would otherwise be filled from the outside. Such transfers will be considered one (1) of the three (3) allotted annual transfers. 1204 Any specific job requirements for particular job openings, which demand special qualifications, will be listed on the posted Notice of Job Opening. If Management modifies or changes the job requirements after the position is posted, the position will be re‐posted and previous applicants as well as new applicants will be considered for the new posting.   • Posting Vacancies 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October.

  • Posting and Filling of Vacancies 8.1(1) When a permanent vacancy occurs within a classification covered by this agreement, which the Employer intends to fill, after the Employer applies the internal job transfer bidding procedure and the ultimate vacancy is thereby identified, such vacancy shall be advertised for ten (10) calendar days provided that nothing herein shall prevent the Employer from advertising such vacancy throughout its system or outside during the ten (10) day period. Probationary employees may, at the sole discretion of the Employer, be considered for another position outside their classification after the signing date of this agreement. The Corporation reserves the sole and absolute right to carry out any applicable interviewing or testing that is necessary in its opinion. All test processes will be approved by qualified Human Resources staff. An employee will only be allowed to take one test failure for each different job classification bid every four (4) months. Current employees applying for positions which involve increased driving responsibilities must meet corporate driving standards and provide with application a current driving abstract. The opinion of the Employer shall not be exercised in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner.

  • Filling Vacancies In the filling of vacancies, new positions, transfers or promotions, appointments shall be made to the employee with the required qualifications, and level of competency and efficiency as required by the position specifications, and where such requirements are equal, seniority shall be the determining factor.

  • Job Postings and Applications If a vacancy or a new job is created for which Union personnel reasonably might be expected to be recruited, the following shall apply:

  • Filling Vacant Positions During the time the procedures outlined herein are in effect, position vacancies to be filled shall first be offered to regular employees who have a contractual right to be recalled to a position in the involved job classification or who may have a right to “bump” or transfer to the position, as the case may be. In such circumstances, the seniority provisions of the Agreement shall be observed. If no regular employee has a contractual right to the position, the following shall be given consideration in the order (priority) indicated below: 1st Priority: Qualified Job Bank employees 2nd Priority: Employees on a recall list 3rd Priority: Employee applicants from a list of eligibles 4th Priority: Displaced certified temporary employees 5th Priority: Non-employee applicants from a list of eligibles The qualifications of an employee in the Job Bank or on a recall list shall be reviewed to determine whether he/she meets the qualifications for a vacant position. Whether the employee can be trained for a position within a reasonable time (not to exceed three months) shall be considered when determining the qualifications of an employee. If it is determined that the employee does not meet the qualifications for a vacant position, the employee may appeal to the Director of Human Resources. If it is determined that an employee in the Job Bank is qualified for a vacant position, the employee shall be selected. The appointing authority may appeal the issue of whether the employee is qualified. The dispute shall be presented to and resolved by the Job Bank Steering Committee. If it is determined that an employee on a recall list is qualified for a vacant position, the employee will be given priority consideration and may be selected. Appeals regarding employees on a recall list and their qualifications for a position will be handled by the Civil Service Commission. The grievance procedure under the Labor Agreement shall not apply to determinations as to qualifications of the employee for a vacant position.

  • Job Postings The employee may apply for a job posting at either home based on their seniority at the designated employer. The vacancy will be filled in accordance with Article 9 of the collective agreement. Where seniority is the deciding factor the most senior candidate will be selected regardless of which home her/his seniority was accumulated.

  • Filling Positions ‌ The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.

  • JOB POSTING Where a permanent vacancy occurs in a classification within the bargaining unit or a new position within the bargaining unit is established by the Hospital, such vacancy shall be posted for a period of seven (7) consecutive calendar days. Applications for such vacancy shall be made in writing within the seven (7) day period referred to herein. Where the end of the seven (7) days falls on a weekend, or a holiday (as defined in Article L.18.1), the posting will close on the first business day following. The postings shall stipulate the job title, department, campus, status, number of vacancies, shift rotation where applicable, classification, rate of pay, normal requirements of the position, work location where applicable as determined by the Employer (unit, work area, sector), and normal hours of work. A copy of the job description for the position shall be made available for review by an interested applicant by the Human Resources Department upon request. A copy of all job postings shall be emailed to the local Union office the day prior to the initial posting of the position. It is understood that the hours of work on the job posting is for information purposes only. The Hospital agrees that it shall post permanent vacant positions within thirty (30) calendar days of the position becoming vacant, unless the Hospital provides the Union notice under Article 9.08 of its intention to eliminate the position. In matters of promotion and staff transfer appointment shall be made of the senior applicant able to meet the normal requirements of the job. Successful employees need not be considered for other vacancies within a six (6) month period unless an opportunity arises which allows the employee to change his or her permanent status. The name of the successful applicant will be posted on the bulletin boards for a period of seven (7) calendar days. Where there are no successful applicants from within this bargaining unit for vacant positions referred to in this Article, employees in other CUPE bargaining units at the Hospital will be selected in accordance with the criteria for selection above, prior to considering persons who are not member of CUPE bargaining units at the Hospital. The employees eligible for consideration shall be limited to those employees who have applied for the position in accordance with this Article, and selection shall be made in accordance with this Article. The successful applicant shall be allowed a trial period of up to thirty (30) days, during which the Hospital will determine if the employee can satisfactorily perform the job. Within this period the employee may voluntarily return, or be returned by the Hospital to the position formerly occupied, without loss of seniority. The vacancy resulting from the posting may be filled on a temporary basis until the trial period is completed. A list of vacancies filled in the preceding month under this Article and the names of the successful applicants will be posted, with a copy provided to the Union.

  • Vacancy Posting All vacancies shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each building of the district for a period of ten (10) workdays. Said posting shall contain the following information:

  • Unavailability of Tenor of Benchmark Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein or in any other Loan Document, at any time (including in connection with the implementation of a Benchmark Replacement), (A) if the then-current Benchmark is a term rate (including the Term SOFR Reference Rate) and either (1) any tenor for such Benchmark is not displayed on a screen or other information service that publishes such rate from time to time as selected by the Administrative Agent in its reasonable discretion or (2) the regulatory supervisor for the administrator of such Xxxxxxxxx has provided a public statement or publication of information announcing that any tenor for such Benchmark is not or will not be representative, then the Administrative Agent may modify the definition of “Interest Period” (or any similar or analogous definition) for any Benchmark settings at or after such time to remove such unavailable or non-representative tenor and (B) if a tenor that was removed pursuant to clause (A) above either (1) is subsequently displayed on a screen or information service for a Benchmark (including a Benchmark Replacement) or (2) is not, or is no longer, subject to an announcement that it is not or will not be representative for a Benchmark (including a Benchmark Replacement), then the Administrative Agent may modify the definition of “Interest Period” (or any similar or analogous definition) for all Benchmark settings at or after such time to reinstate such previously removed tenor.
