Openings to full-time positions shall also be based upon availability for overnight scheduling. Probationary employees may not bid on open positions until they have achieved seniority status. In the filling of vacancies for promotions/transfers, preference shall be given to the most senior applicant provided said applicant possesses the minimum qualifications to perform the work. However, an employee may be determined to be ineligible if he/she has two (2) or more active disciplines on file or discipline at a written level or higher. When new staff positions are created or existing positions have changes to duties, education, or experience, the Associate Director of Employee Services and an Association member of the will meet to review the position prior to circulation to determine in which pay group the position should be placed.
