Jointly Developed Clause Examples
The "Jointly Developed" clause defines how intellectual property or materials created collaboratively by two or more parties during the course of an agreement will be owned, managed, and used. Typically, this clause outlines whether the parties will share ownership equally, assign specific rights to each party, or establish procedures for licensing and commercialization of the jointly developed assets. Its core practical function is to prevent disputes by clearly allocating rights and responsibilities regarding co-created work, ensuring that all parties understand their entitlements and obligations.
