Disability Pay. 1. If a permanent staff member is ill or injured and unable to perform his/her job, then he/she may be eligible for disability pay. The following conditions shall apply.

Disability Pay. This benefit is available for full-time employees who have completed their probationary period at a rate of Effective 3/3/13 45% of regular pay; Effective – I/1/14 – 47% of regular pay and Effective 1/1/15 – 49% of regular pay per week upon ratification and through the term of this Agreement; not to exceed 12 weeks within a 12 month period (The 12 month period is calculated backwards from the 1st day of the recently requested leave). The benefit begins after the eighth day of total disability or on the first day of hospitalization, whichever comes first.
Disability Pay. 17.01 A member prevented from performing his/her regular assigned duties on account of an occupational accident that is recognized by the Workplace Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) as compensable, within the meaning of the Act, shall continue to receive regular compensation from the Belleville Police Services Board, subject to the following:
Disability Pay. If a resident is disabled as a direct result of duties as prescribed by the resident's Program Director, and if the Worker’s Compensation Board finds that the disability is compensable, the Employer, agrees to provide the difference between the Worker’s Compensation Board payments and full salary to the end of the resident's contract period or for six (6) months, whichever is the greater.

The City shall pay the difference between the employee's regular gross wage and worker's compensation for the initial 30 working days which the employee is actually receiving worker's compensation payments in the event the employee suffers a direct injury caused by another person. In all other cases salary payments that are in addition to worker's compensation benefits shall be deducted from the employee's accrued sick leave. Upon exhaustion of the sick leave bank, short- term leave bank, and compensatory bank, then accrued vacation bank hours may be used and deducted from appropriate banks in accordance with this section.
Disability Pay. In that all Alternate Retirement Plan participants receive disability coverage, all approved medical leaves of absence of bargaining unit members so insured should be referred for coverage when the medical leave exceeds the deductible period. The University shall supplement the disability insurance so that the affected individual receives the full equivalent of take-home pay as if they were fully employed, according to mutually agreed upon guidelines established in 2000-2001. Guidelines for considering the granting of medical leaves shall be developed by the parties no later than sixty (60) days after legislative approval, with the understanding that unresolved questions may be submitted for advisory arbitration by either party.

Disability Pay. Upon termination of the Executive’s employment pursuant to subsection 8(a)(i), Xxxxxx Mac shall, if Executive executes and does not revoke a separation agreement, including a full release of claims in favor of Xxxxxx Mac and its affiliates, in form and substance acceptable to Xxxxxx Mac within thirty (30) days (or such longer period as required for a valid release under applicable law) following such termination, continue to pay the Executive (or his estate or heirs, as the case may be) for the shorter of (i) twelve (12) months or (ii) the period ending when Executive ceases to receive or be eligible for disability insurance payments, the difference between the Executive’s current Base Salary and the amount of disability insurance payments received by the Executive under insurance policies provided by Xxxxxx Mac in accordance with this Agreement.
Disability Pay. This benefit is available for full-time employees who have worked for twelve (12) months and need time away from work for non-work related medical issues. Disability pay is in conjunction with Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Disability pay begins on the 1st day of hospitalization or on the 3rd day of an accident or on the 5th day of an illness. Employees will receive disability pay as a taxable benefit for a maximum of 12 weeks at the rate of 60% of regular pay. Effective 1/1/17, the disability pay amount shall increase to 66% of regular pay. A physician statement verifying the need to be off may be required by the Employer. Childbirth shall receive a maximum of 6 weeks of disability pay. If the mother has a documented ongoing medical disability beyond six weeks, she shall be eligible for an additional 6 weeks disability pay.

The City shall pay the difference between the employee's regular gross wage and Worker's Compensation for the initial thirty (30) days during which the employee is actually receiving Worker's Compensation payments in the event an employee suffers a direct injury caused by another person. In all other cases, salary payments that are in addition to Worker's Compensation benefits shall be deducted from the employee's accrued sick leave. Upon exhaustion of sick leave bank, short-term leave bank then accrued vacation bank hours may be used and deducted from appropriate banks in accordance with this section.
