Affected Individual definition

Affected Individual means any person who is your current, former or prospective customer, client, patient, member, owner, student, director or employee and whose “personally identifying information” or “personally sensitive information” is lost, stolen, accidentally released or accidentally published by a “personal data compromise” covered under this Cyber Coverage. This definition is subject to the following provisions:

Affected Individual means an individual who is serving on active duty during the national emergency; or who resides or is employed in an area that is declared a disaster area by any federal, state, or local official in connection with the national emergency; or who suffered direct economic hardship as a result of the national emergency, as determined under a waiver or modification issued pursuant to this section.
