Total Disability definition

Total Disability means a “permanent and total disability” within the meaning of Section 22(e)(3) of the Code and such other disabilities, infirmities, afflictions or conditions as the Committee by rule may include.

Total Disability means the inability of a Limited Partner substantially to perform the services required of such Limited Partner (in its capacity as such or in any other capacity with respect to any Affiliate of the Partnership) for a period of six consecutive months by reason of physical or mental illness or incapacity and whether arising out of sickness, accident or otherwise.

Total Disability means a totally disabling Condition resulting from an illness or injury that prevents a Member from engaging in any employment or occupation for which he may otherwise become qualified by reason of education, training or experience, and for which the Member is under the regular care of a Physician.

• You will not receive an extension of Benefits unless a Physician provides Blue Shield with written certification of your Total Disability within 90 days of the effective date of termination.

More Definitions of Total Disability

Total Disability means a “total and permanent disability” within the meaning of Section 22(e)(3) of the Code and, with respect to Awards other than Incentive Stock Options, such other disabilities, infirmities, afflictions, or conditions as the Administrator may include.

Total Disability means the complete and permanent inability of a Key Employee to perform all of his or her duties under the terms of his or her employment with any Participating Company, as determined by the Committee upon the basis of such evidence, including independent medical reports and data, as the Committee deems appropriate or necessary.
